I think we should get a date on the books ASAP and allow people to find proxies to draft for them if necessary... Hard to plan around people who are available 3 or 4 days all month

Please fill out your availability using the link above. The 2024 MLB season is scheduled to begin on March 20–21 with a two-game series between the Dodgers and Padres held in Seoul, South Korea before the regular season starts for other teams March 28.

New owner for Italian Breakfast welcome to the league. You are allowed to make one time penalty free cuts to your roster. You will have to make all the cuts at once when you decide who to cut.

I understand that people have other things going on. However, these teams would go inactive, miss arbitration/deadlines, and not set lineups. Also not participating in the auctions. There is plenty of time to fit it in.
We should be able to find new owners that can make one time penalty free cuts. I want owners that want to play, meet deadlines, and participate.

VIII e. Teams must always be able to field a 40 man roster for $400; therefore following the keeper deadline, a team salary must never exceed $360 + the number of players on the roster. However, there is no salary cap from the end of the MLB season until the keeper deadline.

Also the rules state that
"Teams that are not under roster limits as defined in I. b. are not allowed to participate in the Auction Draft"

Is there no penalty for not getting your cuts in before the deadline? New managers claiming a team getting a round of free cuts I understand but just managers with invalid rosters that didn’t take time to make any cuts in the 3 months they were available to be made seems unfair because now they can sit back and evaluate all the cuts that were made late deadline day and evaluate free agency pool and adjust accordingly with their cuts. that would be Italian Breakfast & IL inc so they need

I'd hold off on making those commissioner cuts... New owners should have the opportunity to make the cuts they want. They get one round of free cuts when claiming a team

We are getting closer to the Jan 31st keeper and renewal deadline. Right now we have 2 teams without owners. We could have more if owners don't renew. I could also process other teams trades at the deadline in case they want to include those players in another trade.

I want to trade Gerrit Cole but the trade won't process until after the trade deadline. What would everyone's vote be if I discussed a Cole trade before deadline with other teams? As commissioner I would then process trade if agreed to. Thought I'd ask but i'm fine just waiting and keeping Cole.
