I feel bad you'll have a season basically with just 11 teams, which will screw with the league for a bit, but it is what it is. Kraken you can abandon my team and someone can take it over with a free season to try and start rebuilding it.

I get up at 6:30 am though - starting at 2:00 am just too much for me. I'm going to bed. It's not a big deal, I'm not mad about it, risk I take trying to keep up with US fantasy sports.

I made it clear both in the spreadsheet and in a post here what I could do. As recently as Feb 16th I posted in this chat "I know it's not your problem and I'll work with whatever is selected, but the earlier in the day the better for me - I am in central Europe so 6 hours ahead of the East Coast. An afternoon on the weekend would be ideal, or if in the evening a Fri or Sat." We picked a Sun evening. Fine - 7pm was 1 am, and I could stay up til 2 or so and blow my cash then go to bed.

The drafts usually go 2+ hours, you would have been drafting into 8pm eastern anyway. Why don’t you catch the first hour at least?

Sorry it didn't work out Knights. Draft date and time has been set for a while though (except for the 1 hour shift) - we probably should have worked to figure something out long before today if it was going to be an issue.

Just abandon my team and see if you can find someone to take it between now and auction. I'm out the $50, it is what it is. Good luck guys.

We set auction time at beginning of March. Hard to make changes the day of but trying to see if we can get you in to participate. Need to communicate to league members so they know if any changes made

Knights what times Eastern Time are you available to draft today? I said I would try my best to make it work for you. Willing to work with league members to find a solution.

I only agreed to join this league when commish promised Europe friendly draft times, so can't say I'm not a bit annoyed that I joined a $50 league based on a promise that wasn't kept but it is what it is. My other leagues use slow auction via couchmanagers.com which is perfect for people in a lot of different time zones.

Guys I'm going to bail, I'll get a new owner for the team. I can't do the auction that late and will be second year in a row I can't participate in the auction. I had joined this because I was told auctions would be at a reasonable time.

Sorry gang but I have to ask if there is any chance we could push it back 1 hour to 8pmEST/5pmPST aka my time.. that would really really help me out as I’ll be finishing up at work. It’s all good if not I’ll just have to miss the first hour of the draft if we start right at 4. Looking forward to draft!

I think that date gives us the most flexibility. Any chance we could do earlier, like 6 ET? I have a second draft later that night

I like March 26th as the date to set the draft. It's a Sunday and only 4 days away from opening day. Teams would have 20 days to plan ahead.

I can actually do the 12th the earliest @ 6:30pm PT if need be , since I have multiple drafts trying for this date I requested the evening off of the event just in case

I see 12th, 16th, 26th as possible dates. Trying to accommodate everyone. 7 teams have voted and 5 said yes to those dates.

Commish, any thoughts on setting a draft date and time? The longer we wait the harder it will be to pick one that works for most... I'm sure we'd all prefer to get in on our calendars as soon as possible.

Just Completed poll. Sorry the 12th doesn’t work for me I will be at one of the biggest events of the year at the country club I work at, all day thing. If we could figure out another time that would be appreciated, only 6 out of 12 teams have filled out poll so far…

I think we should probably shoot for a single-day draft since we just have partial rosters to fill out - should make it easier to find a time that works for everyone.

We can complete the auction in 1 day or over multiple days. MLB Regular Season Starts March 30th.
