• Building in exception and special rules can slowly erode the simplicity of the game and there will always be people who wish things could be stretched or extended to cover their particular situation. I agree with Smokin’ Jay, unfortunate break, business as usual.

• Looks like people are either against allowing this, or open to whatever. That being said, I think the best idea is to proceed as usual with no changes. In Dogpile's defense, I knew he wasn't seriously asking for a special exemption, but I thought it was worth bringing to the group for discussion. So, if anybody has issues with the idea being brought up, you can direct any tar and feathering to me.

• For the record, I wasn't asking to make an exception for just me. If it was accepted it would affect all teams that has a player out for the year, including l.miller. But there is one difference between those two situations also, as miller doesn't take up a roster spot being on IR, while luck does. But either way, I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers here, so I'll just drop luck after the draft and have funds for bidding I guess.
