• in three other leagues: 1).3 division winners get buy in back...payout title winner (7x buy in) and runner up (2x buy in). 2). only playoff pay outs 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. not sure what the multiples are (i've never made it to a money game). 3). smaller buy in...playoffs 1st and 2nd pay out.

• Splitting the definition of 'best' seems silly when it's a head-to-head league with playoffs. So, I'm pretty opposed to rewarding highest regular season points, since its a head-to-head league and not a season-long points league. Happy with anyone else to chime in on this, got plenty of time to think it through.

• I just want to make sure the best teams get rewarded and focusing all the payouts on the playoffs doesn't do that. to me, money should be roughly equally split between regular season and post-season. that's how it works in any baseball or football league i play in that uses playoffs.

• the weekly high score i think is important to give teams out of the running a reason to set lineups and compete so that matchups in weeks 10+ are competitive and not gimmes for teams still in the hunt when they face teams out of the race. that was an issue this year, from what I saw. the regular season most points matters because as the league is structured now, you could have the best team and miss the playoffs.

• I'm not really interested in "high score of the week" or "most regular season points" rewards, this isn't an investment vehicle. Would be interested in a larger buy in, payouts for playoff teams and payouts for top 3. I'm hoping that we can move to a wild card next year, so 6 teams would make the playoffs. Maybe I'll sort that out first before we figure out payouts.

  $250 for winning playoffs

• I was supposed to 'end' the season yesterday but got mixed up, so I've just ended the season - salary increases have been applied, etc. Please check your teams to make sure everything seems fine.
  
  As a side note, because Dez Bryant's auction started at the wrong time, he will not have a salary increase. Update your bids accordingly.

• i'll be content knowing we put up an obscenely good regular season and managed to make the finals without our RB1, WR1, or QB1 available in the playoffs. Everything went wrong for us this year and it finally caught up to us in week 16.
