• Well, instead of posting to the forums, Chad emailed me again and Geoff started 5 auctions, because both of them clearly care deeply about ottoneu as a product and me growing this business with my user base. I'm glad I have such supportive friends. Chad, you never asked me, but I'll go ahead and fix your lineup back to how it was set at the start of the day.

• my only interest here is conveying that i believe this is particularly poorly-designed rule, and that you should consider some less punitive alternative to address the issue that led to its development. i'm not trying to fuck over anyone else, but i do want to alert everyone about this ,and have them to chime in if they see the same inherent problems that chad and i do.

• Paying customers tend to read the message board, unlike Chad. Had 1 team in 1 league with an issue, and they apologized to me for one guy in their league missing the update. ottoneu customers: way more reasonable than all the smarter-than-thou brainiacs in this league.

• I know you guys tune this stuff out, but its worth noting that if your team has too many players or too many dollars spent and your team has players with games starting, the players in those games will be put on the bench. That is what happened to Lincoln Abes this week (though, not really to anyone else). Geoff has decided this means he should start auctions about 24 hours before games start - 12:55pm on Saturdays, or 7:05pm ET tonight. So, if an auction is started in 44 minutes and you have players playing in MNF tomorrow, you shouldn't bid. If you do bid, you should cut a player before the auction ends.
  
  I'm not sure how to deal with this other than make it public and be very clear that this is why we can't have nice things. In 99% of leagues this wouldn't be a problem, but Geoff and Chad are basically the worst now.

• Last weekend of the regular season! Playoffs will be set up next Tuesday, division winners and one wild card. Going to let non-playoff teams make roster moves during the playoffs, please do not abuse this. Arbitration during the month of February, then trades are open from March->end of July.
