• Looks like it's a four horse race, unlike last year this time where we had like 7 teams vying for a playoff spot. Hoarding big men was the strategy this year based on how the top 3 currently are

• I hadn’t heard of multiple matchups til Bob Loblaw flagged it. Still wrapping my head around it but Niv advises it’s more for points leagues than categories. But if people are interested we can vote on it

• Our new owner has made his cuts. Took me a second to figure out how to do it without having cap penalties apply, which is why the Transaction History looks so weird. But I think we are officially set to go for the draft. Let me know if you have any questions, otherwise see you on Oct 16!

• Correct, when a new owner takes over they'd be inheriting Goose's roster, but they get to make one round of cuts without any cap penalties.

• Would the new team inherit and need to make Goose's roster legal or would they start from scratch? If the former, I assume they would not incur cap penalties while doing so? I might have someone.

• Looks like everyone made their cuts and renewed except Canadian Goose. Il give him another day or two and if he doesn’t respond, will abandon his team and we can find another owner. If anyone knows someone who might be interested, send them my way. I’m already excited for the draft!

• The later the date for the draft, the better, I think — lessen the chances of an injury surprise between the draft and the 10/19 start of the regular season.

• Looking back at the final score of the championship game- it's crazy that if one 3pt is made by Goose, or one more missed by Melon and the score would have flipped.

• I just sent a final reminder to the last remaining teams that need to do Arbitration by May 31. I'm not sure, but it's possible trading season will start on June 1, so get those offers ready!

• REMINDER: Arbitration has started in our league. You have until May 31 to apply all your arb dollars to other teams. You have $25 total, and I don't think you can spend more than $3 on any given team. Make sure you distribute all your $ and then submit so that it saves. Please let me know if you have any questions!

• My view is similar to others expressed here - prefer to avoid final week of the NBA regular season, and if a 4-team playoff is the only way to do that, let's stick with that. Although if Ottoneu ever gave us flexibility to go to a 6-team playoff and still hold the finals in the second to last week, I'd prefer that.

• I prefer 4 for the reasons already stated - the balanced regular season schedule and avoiding the last week of the NBA season. We actually had about 8 teams still in contention for the playoff spots at the trade deadline, although admittedly not all of those teams were buying.

• Thanks for weighing in - keep the opinions coming. If we did 6 there's no option to move the championship earlier than the last week. (Similarly, even with 4, we can't move it any earlier than the second-to-last week.) The options are pretty limited on my end.
