  Each team shall during the regular season maintain a roster of 22 major-league players . . . The remaining 18 roster spots can be used for reserves, consisting of both major and minor leaguers.

• Definitely helps to generate cap space towards the end of the season. Sometimes another manager wins the re-auction and it'll clear the cap penalty from your roster altogether.

• Just an FYI for people new to Ottoneu in general. If you cut someone whose salary is, let's say, $20 ($10 penalty), and they are still not claimed a month later, you can re-nominate them and if you win the auction you can cut them again and halve the penalty to $5. And so on each month. All of your penalty guys should eventually be down to $1 or claimed by another team. You'll see people you can re-nominate on your rosters screen to the right in bold.

• MD, to answer your questions, Dont Judge will not he able to nominate or bid on the players they cut for 30 days, just like normal. And the players that are cut should not be carrying any salary when they are back in the free agent pool, thats something I will do in the commish tools. I imagine that this will only be a few players at most, so hopefully not too tough to manage.

• MD, The background for this penalty free round of cuts is that don't judge. Owner took over mid-season and has not made their cuts yet. This is in the rules for owners that take over abandoned teams. So from what I remember, their roster had about 14 or so players that were acquired before they took over. If they still want to do a round of cuts, it would be limited to those players and not once they acquired after taking over.

• I'll message you to coordinate details on the 'free cut' - Don't Judge. Everyone else, my thought is that the free cut is applicable to players that were on the roster when it was abandoned earlier in the year, and not to players that Don't Judge bought at auction. And it's gotta be done at one time.
