  • We used to draft during spring training, but due to the small server space available for the large volume of ottoneu drafts that occur during ST, there were somewhat regular technical issues and crashes during the drafts. So we switched to Feb drafting to avoid the problem. I'm open to switching back, but that's the risk we run.

  • The 16th at 3pm EST works for me, but if the consensus is to wait or pick a different date/time I’m great with that as well.

  • Just a question about the draft date. Is there a reason we do it before spring training and not mid spring training? I wouldn’t mind getting a look at some players performance, potential spring trades, and see if any injuries may cause certain prospects or utility/bullpen players to have a shot a bigger roles before drafting.

  • Just a reminder that we're a few weeks out from the keeper/cut deadline on Jan 31. Also, make sure to pay the fee to renew your team by the same date. I went ahead and tentatively booked the draft for Sunday, Feb 16 at 3pm. If that date/time doesn't work, please sound off (with suggestions) on the message board.

  • Everyone completed arb and the next major deadline is the keeper/cut deadline on January 31. We'll figure out our draft time sometime in the next few months (the date will likely be in Feb per usual). Happy trade season.

  • Arbitration is currently open and runs through Nov. 14. It looks like more than half of the league has already completed their allocations, so if you haven't done so, don't forget!
