Cole had a 5 HR game last year, that NYY won. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/MIN/MIN202206090.shtml
-
I’m probably forgetting something in the scoring but that line looks like approximately -66.

Back in May 2015 Shane Greene gave up 5 HRs (6 hits, 1 BB, 1K…I don’t think he hit anyone but it’s surprising) in 1.2 innings agains the Angels. I think it was minus 70-something.

There's folks in Ottoneu who have broadcast live drafts with Google meet as well.

That would be awesome. Doubt I could make it in person, but a zoom draft would be great.

I can definitely set us up with a place to draft!
-
That sounds like a great idea. I'm just going to throw this out there: Next March will be our 10th Auction. I would be happy to fly down to Phoenix for auctions and Cactus League games if our AZ local can line us up a place to draft.
-
Since I recently got a professional Zoom account because I took on a contract, for the first time a longtime league I’ve been in did a video conference draft. It was so cool as I saw what some guys I’ve known for more more than 15 years, but had never seen, looked like. I think we should consider it.

Somewhere out there in ottoland, someone is still rostering a $10 Brujan.
-
Nice line for Muncy (thanks, I was going to have to look it up). I really wanted him this year; maybe I lucked out
-
Alvarez HR of Reynaldo was impressive . What a combo hit and power tool he has .
-
Just to close the loop: Muncy 0-for-5 with 5 Ks, -5 points; Bohm (on the bench) 25.10 points. Nice call bot. At least Lopez was fine.

TdA beating out an infield single was one of the more entertaining plays in that strange game. Right up there with Braves inability to catch popups.

Bohm takes deGrom yard, chatbot not looking so bright right now. Maybe Muncy will hit 2.

Travis D had something to say today !

Bard was more useful for specific (if easy) questions. It told me to start Muncy over Bohm at 3B based on an easier matchup, and yes it would start Pablo Lopez today.

I’m not sure it understands the value of SBs in ottoneu, or who is/isn’t on the waiver wire. Bard is a lot more confident than Bing about its own ability to manage an ottoneu team: “ Yes, I could manage an Ottoneu Fantasy Baseball team myself. I have access to all of the information and resources that I would need to make informed decisions about my team. I can also use my knowledge of baseball to evaluate players and make trades.”

“… one up off the waiver wire.
Second, your pitching staff is solid, but you could use another top-of-the-rotation starter. You might want to consider trading for one of the top pitchers in the league or picking one up off the waiver wire.
Overall, you have a good team that is capable of competing for a championship. However, you could make some improvements by adding some speed and another top-of-the-rotation starter.“
Good advice I guess but not helpful o

I asked the Bard (not Bing this time) (no relation to Daniel, it claims) who I should start today and gave it a link to my roster page. It’s response wasn’t very helpful: “Thank you for sharing your roster with me. I have looked at it and have some general advice for you.
First, you have a strong team with a lot of power hitters. However, you are also missing some speed, as you only have one player with double-digit steals. You might want to consider trading for a faster player or p

No, unfortunately I have to take a friend to a medical procedure, so can’t make it happen, but at least the timing works for me to watch the game from home.

When I used to have a real job I always took the day off and often went to opening day. Today is better than Christmas
-
"Off" from what? Agree about the west coast; Hawaii should have been mlb.tv paradise but 5 of the 6 west coast teams were blacked out (at least when I lived there) so it was mostly morning baseball. Tomorrow I'll watch the Braves then surf the later games.

Got some good bratwurst and some lamp chops to grill up and will drink Maibock lagers. Wife is out of town so its maximum meat this week

Being in the Pacific Time Zone make a difference. There are games from 10 am until I go to sleep. Love it, maybe my favorite day of the year.
-
I take day off , usually grill and drink beer
-
I'm a radio listener. Always have a Red Sox game on if I can. But I finally have MLB.tv this year through T-Mobile, so I may prop up my phone next to my work monitor.

I wish. Too busy to take the day, but I do have games running on a side monitor all day while working.
-
Just curious, now that MLB does such a great job with Opening Day, do you guys take the day off? I live too far from a MLB city to go to a game, but always take the day off to watch games and eat wings all day.
-
One more day!

Will get pastrami at some point , and a bagel and lox plater

I'm going there for business in two weeks , midtown manhatten

I don't believe that unless they have crazy exports. Germans buy everything local , especially beer .

If you believe the powdered beer spokesperson, transportation and storage of beer is 5% of Germany's carbon footprint.
