• In recent years about half do and half don't so nothing unusual there to be honest. The timing of arb isn't great. It's a long season for people to stay active from early in the year to the end of September. In my experience of any season long league it's very rare that all owners stay engaged throughout. But certainly once the baseball itself stops interest tends to drop until the new year.

• Thanks as well to all of you for playing this season. I'm sure we'll have some ownership turnover but it was great to have each of you in the league. If you're not sure whether you'll stay next season it's still good to do the arbitration (and once that's done make cuts ahead of the Jan 31st keeper deadline) to set up the team for 2016 just in case.

• Hi all, just a quick reminder that the arbitration process is open until Nov 14th. If everyone has a couple of minutes to complete it, it really tees up the league for next season. You can allocate $3 max to an opponent's payroll, on one player or spread around. Just remember to allocate at least $1 to each team or your other allocations will not count. Thanks.

• Each position has a maximum of 162 games over the season. For OF the five spots are aggregated to 810. For C, despite the two lineup spots, there are still only a combined max of 162. Most importantly though is the 1500 IP limit for ALL pitching spots. This is the one that caused issues a couple of times before.
