Thursday the 9th works the best for me. Saturday might work for me, Friday probably would not unless it started earlier than what most I think are comfortable with.
-
I think any could work. If im voting for my fav it would be thursday

Any of those work for me

Ok, so we're looking at evenings after the sixth. Anyone else want to weigh in? How about Thursday the 9th, Friday the 10th or Saturday the 11th?
-
M-Th after 8:30 would be ideal.

Evenings for me are better after 830 or so cuz putting kids to bed. I can make whatever work. Weekends shortly after noon, like 1230 central are good -naptime.

Alright, we're going to commence the league once again. Let's talk about when people are available in July. I can be free almost any evening.
-
I'm sure most of you have seen the plans to hold an MLB season this summer/fall. We'll be posting a league update within the next few days. Ottoneu has issued its own update on how the platform will handle this, which is viewable in the yellow banner at the top of your screen. Again, you'll hear more from us soon, but feel free to post here or message me privately if you're so inclined.
-
Hey everyone. We're staying on hold while the MLB/union slap fight plays itself out. I'll touch base again in two weeks and hopefully we'll have some meaningful progress to talk about.
-
Alright, well these are widely divergent opinions, with the mid-June date seeming like a reasonable compromise to me. Let's plan on doing this the week of June 15. Starting in early June, we'll work on a specific date/time, and then we'll decide collectively (by vote, if necessary) ahead of time whether to hold it.
-
I can say that I am not making any significant roster moves until there is a starting date announced. I'm not going plan for a season that may happen. Even a shortened season isn't that appealing. Any team could be a fluke winner and whats the point then?

I can go either way. If I had to vote, then I would say let's put a date on the calendar for mid- to late June and adjust if things are delayed further.

I'm still on the side of wait until there is a schedule and we know when games are.

I suggest we get something on the calendar for late June. If is starts in July we will be all set. If it gets delayed past that then we move the date accordingly, but we should at least get something scheduled. I agree, I don't want to draft unless we know there will be a season and when we have more definition about what the season will look like.
-
I don't think there is one definitive answer to that question. You could say this is fantasy, not real life, and there is fun to be had in having an auction and firing off trade offers. You could also say that without a definitive real-life plan, it's hard to build a nuanced strategy on a fantasy platform that requires one. I've been on the fence but I don't want to lose good owners who are chomping at the bit.
-
Shouldn't we wait for a date of when baseball will actually start? It doesn't look likely and I don't want to go through a whole draft if there's no season.

I think a date towards the end of June would be good. Maybe the 3rd week or so would be a good target.
-
I'm alright with starting up the engines again. Let me know if you have strong opinions on this. Otherwise, we'll get to work on picking a date.
-
Is there any update on our draft? I am in 2 other leagues, and we drafted already. Then you can make transactions

Welcome to the league! I am good with the usual 1 time drop.

Welcome to the league and I have no issues. Good luck.
-
Good afternoon, folks. Ronny’s Rebels has been claimed, and his new owner would like to make penalty-free cuts. That sounds perfectly reasonable to me, but I want to make sure it’s noted publicly first. If you have an issue, post here or direct message me by noon tomorrow (EST).
-
Please remove me from this league
-
We just finished having this conversation. We're postponed until there's something definitive about if/when baseball will return. If we indeed lose the entire season, we'll talk again about maybe opening things up for drafting/trading.
-
I don't really want to draft until we know how much of the season will be played. Depending on how many games are to be played could change your draft strategy.
-
If we dtaft at least we could trade to give us something to do
-
I seriously doubt Baseball will be played this year, Toronto just extended their stay at home rules until June 30th
-
The postpones carry. The Dynasty Vision, like all of society and human life right now, is postponed until further notice. Stay well, gents.

I vote keep the league and will go along with the majority on when to hold the draft. I have other slow drafts going on outside of Ottoneu to keep me occupied.

I want to state unilaterally that we are not canceling the league. Regarding the draft date, we've hit the point where I think it requires an up-down vote, majority wins. Post here saying 'postpone' or 'keep.' We'll do this through Friday and have an answer this weekend.
-
I don't care either way.
Draft, Don't Draft, Fold don't Fold.
I lost my 401k.
Im just so bummed.
-
Also worth pointing out ottoneu will give a refund up until opening day, whenever that is. So if the date is established and you dont like the the particulars of the 2020 season you can get a refund at that point

I'm with Entrepreneurs. I would prefer to draft to have something to do and also open up trading window, but not strongly for it. I definitely think it is premature to fold up.

I agree with The Future. With this being a dynasty league, I believe it is too premature to fold. Personally, I'd prefer not to postpone, just because the draft gives me something to do, but I do not have a strong opinion either way.
-
I think refunds and league folding may be a bit premature. Its a dynasty league that has been around a fairly long time. I know some are new to it, but that would be a shame. Im sure mlb will still play at least 120 games. I think we can still hold out for that

I would hold off on that for now. There is talk of possibly going into November or even December and having neutral sites in warm weather cities for the WS and playoff games. Can we give it a few more weeks to see where everything is then make a decision? I would hate to see the league fold because of the delay.
-
Sad but true. I would vote for refund it and move on
-
Maybe we should just cancel the league and recoup our money.
Paying for three months just doesn't seem worth it
-
I vote postpone
