  • He's Niv. And he will have 2 gripes. 1) Not many Roto players want a month of H2H in Sept, and 2) the software work to offer more choices H2H of how to hold Roto championships would not be simple or cheap. And for me, 3) you can't allow unlimited SPs in playoffs or the crafty streamer will usually overwhelm a smaller but better pitching staff. We Could agree to hold No Playoffs in 2026 before both the 2026 draft and the first MLB game somewhere way over the water: problem solved.

  • Nada can be done now but it strikes me as odd to have playoffs in a game that is essentially a marathon of fantasy baseball. Also changing the scoring rules even a little is close to sports heresy. Sure, NBA and NHL playoffs are kicked up more than a few notches, but all the rules are unchanged. Aside from Survivor, I can think of no athletics involved contest where the rules change at the end. Next year, perhaps no playoffs? Room for discussion for sure.

    Leagues may choose to have playoffs to determine their league champion. This is determined by a league setting that can be updated during the offseason but cannot be changed once the MLB regular season and Ottoneu regular season start."
    If you want playoffs in a x Roto league those playoffs Appear to have to be in Fangraphs Points. I think FgPts approximates 5X5, but

  • Book of bo is correct on hp issue. Essentially 1 game per position per day of season without playoffs counted. Playoff system is what it is. No way to change that I've been able to discover. Can change scoring system for playoffs but not the system itself.
