  • I will drop the projected standing after this week, for reasons that will be clear below.

    Projected standings are: Geezer, Roca, JBO (but not really), Freshmeat, Portland (but not really), GTown (but not really) and Hudson. The but not really refers to the fact that those teams are short on games played or innings pitched, so they cannot get to the level that the batting number or hitting numbers project to. That is they will not get to 1944 games played and/or 1500 innings pitched.

  • The current standing remain the same as last week but Geezer has opened a gap on Roca for the lead. Freshmeat and Hudson are battling for 3rd having dropped JBO. Portland has work to do to catch JBO and Maple is at the verge of elimination (behind 608 and with 3 weeks left 600 is my practical elimination number, so I am leaving him in this week). Maple is the only player outside the top 6 with a chance to get to OPL eligible.

  • 3 weeks left in the seaon. 143g/1324ip is on pace. Last week 2 teams were over 700: Geezer and GTown. Only 1 team is over 3K for the last 30d, Portland. The top 6 hitters are Geezer, Roca, JBO, Portland, GTown (up from 6) and Freshmeat (down from 5). The top 6 ptichers are JBO, Freshmeat, Hudson (up from 4) Geezer (up from 6), Roca (down from 3) and Portland (down from 5).

  • In the race for the final OPL spot, only Maple is within 800 points of 6th. Beef is close at 960. The next week may see the clarification of 2025 OPL eligibility.
