Happy New Year all! Just a couple reminders that the keeper deadline and league dues are both due by 12am eastern on Jan 31st.
If you have ideas for any changes to the league please reach out to me directly and I'm happy to get a poll sent out so we can vote on it. Could be anything from league name to rules to division/playoff structure etc.

Second, I have taken a new job last year that has been keeping me busier than ever (in addition to having two new feet running around our home). Given that, I am not sure I can be commissioner again next year. Is there anyone who would like to take over this role? Please DM me if so, I am happy to answer any questions.

Hi Commish and owners, congrats to the winners, wanted to say it's been a pleasure playing with all of you this season. Got way too many leagues and cannot maintain the rythm (time consuming and $$$). So I won't be renewing many of my leagues like this one, got some talent to attract new owner for next year so you should be able to quickly fill vacancy. have a good arb and a great future season! I did the same thing and even looked it up to make sure. Under League - League Settings - Playoffs it says “GS Cap: 10.” Which I took to mean each matchup, not each week. It’s the system that’s out of order!

Random comment but I totally thought that we had the 10 SP starts for two weeks in the finals (similar to the extended week around the AS break). I definitely wish I hadn't budgeted my starts like I did, but I'm also glad it reset for the week.

Nothing like putting up over 800 points and still losing to effectively be eliminated from playoff contention. Hell of a week Upper Deck! I am officially waving the white flag. Open to trade discussions for anyone looking to strengthen their roster in this last week of the regular season

Ok thanks you two. So it’s looking like the consensus best days are this coming Saturday or Sunday. Given the short time until then please tell me in the next day if you want to draft and those days don’t work for you.
I’ll then make a doodle poll to find the best time, keeping in mind we have people in every US time zone

Okay, here is a doodle poll just to find the DAY. I had to put 7PM EST as the time as a placeholder. But please try to find a day where you have the whole evening roughly free. And then we can find an exact time to start that works for everyone.
I assumed Friday/Sat/Sun would be best, but if we need to go during the week we will find a time that works.

well my memory was bunk, or the rules were changed. there is the option for a GS cap in the playoffs. I went ahead and made it 10 game start cap to match the regular season. The only difference with the playoff version of the rules is for two-week playoff games. The rules for these are:
"For two-week playoff games only, the GS Cap will apply separately to each week."

Let me look into this, I think that for some reason the playoffs must be in that other format, so if we want consistency we'd need to change the regular season. I am fine with this if it's a majority opinion of the league

Alright well that's it on our season this year. I hope you all had a fun year and I hope everyone is looking forward to the off-season action. I want to apologize for being a little absent recently. We recently had a big move and life changes, and Ottoneu took a bit of a backseat. I hope it didn't negatively impact anyone's time here in the league, and I look forward to really getting back into it next season. Let's congratulate Lowe IQ on yet ANOTHER season victory. Sheesh.
