Analysis: Despite a strong season at Triple-A El Paso, Gillaspie was unable to find his footing in the big leagues, posting a 7.15 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 11.1 innings. The 27-year-old should be able to at least attract a minor-league contract in free agency.
