• From Niv yesterday...........We’re doing some final testing tonight and hope to be up with our new payment provider, Paydala, tomorrow. I’ll have a video with the steps required to make payments - I think it is smoother than PayPal was, though there is a bit more information required the first time you check out, which is due to legal compliance.
  
  I’ll leave the deadlines where they are for right now, August 31 for football renewals, September 15 for basketball renewals. If anyone has any concerns about these dates, please email help@ottoneu.com and I’ll help you out.
  
  I appreciate everyone’s patience through the entire ordeal this summer, and I am excited to work with our new payment provider and continue Ottoneu for everyone for many years to come.

• I don’t mean to be the new guy throwing around a bunch of new idea. I’m down for whatever, but I prefer the slow draft because you can bid whenever, and it kind of extends the fun. My baseball league probably takes 5 days and that’s way more players. By the fifth day it’s a bunch of $1 dart throws.

• Ah ok. I appreciate the clarification. Seems similar to FAAB but the bids are visible (instead of blind like we do in season). Well, hopefully we can do a live draft but I see the possibility here.

• It's not quite like that. You'd have like 25-30 auctions going at once and when one ends one starts. So you just bid in the guys you want and don't on the ones you don't. Super easy, it's actually pretty fast and allows you to adjust to your budget easier as it starts to fill instead of every 60 seconds. But whatever format is fine with me.

• I vote no on slow draft. We are really going to wait around for 12 hours for a $1 bud guy? And then after that nomination another 12 hour cycle? This seems tedious. I am sure we can find 3 hours somewhere to just get this done just as we have for few years now. If we are going to take this route then let’s just skip straining to the FAAB process.

• Works great imo, we would do 12 hours on the nomination and 8 on a over bid (any variation I'm sure would be fine). Doesn't take too long and fits in the pockets of your day. I would highly recommend.

• Is there appetite to try to draft sooner? One league I’m in has done the draft already and is actively adding/dropping and trading so that is kind of fun as the preseason starts to unfold here instead of having rosters static until we draft. Just a thought.

• Agreed, haha. I’m an old school fool for RBs. Though these guys seem to have ACLs made of balsa wood so can’t have too many !!! this coming from a dude that pulls a hammy shootin hoops in the drive way :) Looking forward to some football

• JUGG…that’s why I kept most of my players so I don’t fall victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well known is this; never go in against JUGGERNAUT, when a draft is on the line!
