• Ah, OK. For future reference, how long before game time do lineups lock? I remember checking to make sure I wasn't too late right before logging on to make the change. Phone said 12:54, so I figured I was good. That sucks considering Kelce blew up but if it's common knowledge or stated somewhere that the lineups lock a few minutes before game time then I guess it's my own fault. I especially wish I would have known I was too late at the time since I still would have been able to put Wright it that slot. Oh well. Cody Parkey could score 40 points, right?

• Black Swans: I checked with Niv (the guy who makes ottoneu) and he said: "It looks like Kelce was added too late. I’ll add Evans back to the starting lineup." Your roster spot must have locked, which happens a few minutes prior to planned kickoff.

• Here's something weird: I made a substitution right before the 1:00 games started yesterday, putting Kelce in for Evans. However, the box score shows Kelce in my starting lineup and on my bench (he's listed twice, while Evans is only on my bench), and his points were not counted for me. Anyone else have this problem?

• It looks like all teams will be good to go with functioning rosters. Thanks to all for putting up with a fairly difficult draft process. This is ottoneu's first year with football, and I'm sure Niv will keep improving it. Let the trash talk begin.

• Rams and Bacon - if you don't end up with complete rosters through trades and auctions, I can assign you some non-drafted non-auctioned players also. I would do just as I did with Medina, and I think that would keep us competitive and be fair.

• I just added non-roster non-auction players to Medina's team, so he will be able to put together a mildly competitive lineup. I think we can assume he will be proposing some trades in the coming weeks, but for now he'll need to count on Kirk Cousins.

• I agree. Rams is good to go, but for Bacon and Medina, please everyone post here if you have an opinion. The proposal on the table is for me to assign Bacon and Medina players (those not drafted or being auctioned) sufficient to give them a starting squad that accrues some points (I'll use a rotowire list and give them best available). I would do it on Wednesday, because by then it would be too late for them to use auctions or trades.

• i agree, they don't hurt any of the trades. just wrong info. I think we need to put a full lineup's worth of players on Bacon , sod and rams (rams are well on the way to rectifying thier team) before games this week or else we have a big time strength of scedule issue. whomever plays them in the first 4 weeks or so gets and automatic victory while the taems that play them in the secont half see a very different team. i think they should at least have a line up (9) worth of players. What do y'all think? seems fair.

• The trade screen has some serious flaws, but they don't seem to translate to anything that matters. For another example, if you edit the $ to be loaned, it just keeps counting up. But, no problem in what actually happens.

• We need to decide what to do about Medina, Bacon, and Rams. They don't have players. It would be good to know if they intend to participate or remain ghostships. To keep things competitive, and to allow for possible rehabilitation of those teams (gradually over this and next year, likely), I could assign them players that were not drafted - enough to field a lineup.

• Regarding the duration of the draft: ottoneu drafts reach a point where most players are done and the draft has turned in to one or two people picking up $1 players - which is fine with me. We can keep going until everyone leaves the draft. If you need to leave early, just plan on adding your scrubs with auctions. Usually, there is tinkering in the days following the draft regardless. If you need to leave at 2 or 2.5 hours, I don't think you will miss much.

• I'm hoping the draft goes more than 2.5 hours. It's going to take a bit more than that to act out a strategy. If you dicided on a time befre the draft started. Say 3.5 (auctions take awhile) then everyone would know, and we could strategize based on that info. You know what I mean? 3.5 seems pretty fair for an auction. 2.5 is a really short auction draft. I support what ever the decision is though.

• After looking at the posts, we should keep the draft where it is - at 5 pm Pacific, 8 pm Eastern on Sunday 9/6. Please plan to log into the draft a few minutes early, and we can start as soon as we have all 12 teams. Plan to draft for 2 or 2.5 hours, but I will propose closing the draft when we get to the point where the draft is similar to the waiver wire auctions. At some point, ottoneu drafts no longer involve multiple bids, and it is so similar to the waiver wire process that there is no longer any point in it being a draft. With the football roster being so much smaller than baseball, I think we can fill most starting slots quickly. If you have a few more guys you wanted, just put them up for auction and they'll mostly be yours before the first game.

• 7:30 east works for me. Would suck though, to split it or end it before it's done. In my baseball league, a few guys only stayed for two hours, drafted the stars they wanted, then filled there team via in season auctions. One of them is in 1st place. So you don't have to stay for 5 hours to have a good team. The best players come up in the first 2 hours.
