Analysis: Whittington barely played Week 1 and didn't get much playing time in the first half of Sunday's 41-10 loss at Arizona, but he then played every snap on offense in the second half, finishing with two catches for 22 yards on two targets. He seems to be ahead of Tutu Atwell in the pecking order and may thus join Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson as full-time players this Sunday against the 49ers. While expectations for the rookie sixth-round pick should be modest for now, he did get a lot of praise from teammates, coaches and beat reporters this summer, and he's a candidate to take some carries in addition to whatever targets he might get.
