• Hello, gentlemen. From what I have read on here I use the word gentlemen very loosely. ;-) I am glad to join and hope to make the league even better. I have been playing FF for over 30 years & I like to trade but obviously wont make trades that do not benefit my team so please do treat me like a newbie. Thanks guys and again I am happy to be here.

• Hey fellas, just sharing a heads up that I won't be participating in the $50 pool. I planned to when I joined the league but I didn't realize there would be teams not participating in it, which I think is a bit odd. Now that we also have a team that won't set its lineup, this league is just too strange for me to toss $50 at. Sorry.

• Not sure what the story is with West Texas Raiders, but we may want to come up with a plan if they don't field a team at all this year (or if they do so mid-season). It would be a moot point if we each played WTR once, but two teams play them twice. Not sure what tools the site gives to commissioners. If it's possible, maybe we do something like whoever plays WTR gets the win if they would have beaten the winner in 3 of the 5 other match-up winners in a given week. Not trying to complicate things, just throwing it out there. Ultimately, if we do nothing, it's probably not going to change the outcome of the season, but if people feel strongly about it, it's better to address now.

• Just so we're clear on the side bet/payouts... the $$ go to the top-finishing teams who are participating in the side bet, correct? So if the league champ and runner up are not in the side bet, the top $$ prize would go to the 3rd place team? And the $$ will be 66.67% for top prize, 25% for 2nd, and 8.33% for 3rd?
