• I just saw on the message board that the payment deadline has been extended until 9/30 while Niv works on some details with Paydala specific for Ottoneu. Having read that, I'm happy to stick around and manage my team until that point and see if he's able get an exception for having to provide SSNs, or at least maybe he or Paydala can provide a better explanation on how our information is protected. (I know he posted some documents on the message board, but I'm not smart enough to understand what those mean.)
  
  TL;DR: I'm sticking around for the next month and we'll wait and see.

• The link is to the conversation that many have regarding privacy concerns and SSN. I read through it and there is a section that has the security reports that the payment network has for the services they use. Might give some comfort that they are not using fly by night firm to process their information and the firms they are using are attested to from a security and controls standpoint. Of course everyone will arrive at their own conclusion but just passing along.

• Hey all. How many of you have paid for the league yet? I'm extremely hesitant to pay with this new provider that requires a SSN and might drop out of the league. I love Otto format, you guys are cool, and I love my team this year, so it's particularly painful. I realize the creator of Otto was dealt a bad hand with PayPal and a short timeframe to turn things around, but I'm hesitant to turn my SSN over to a small company with almost no online footprint.
  
  So, I wanted to get a gauge of how many people have taken the plunge and paid so far. If NO ONE has paid, I'd propose trying our best to mimic this in Yahoo or something else. But if this is where we part, so be it.

• Apologies fellas. I definitely wasn’t trying to be a toxic pill. To be honest I was grabbing QBs in all my leagues at the start of the season as the landscape at the position just looked so barren after the top 10 that I just wanted to stay out of that (I really don’t buy in to the “Late Round QB” concept). Plus we are playing dynasty so there is always something more on the line than just the current season, right. Anyway sorry to be a pest.

• And let me clarify that I do not think cutting Mike White or Zack Moss is actually "egregious." Both are justifiable cuts as likely non-factors for contending teams.

• I can tell you with 100% certainty that there's no smoke here... these two people have never met in real life, and I can verify I know them both and I am the only common link. LA Dons invited me to the league; I invited EZ the following year.
  
  Not to speak for LA Dons, but Zack Moss probably got dropped because:
  
  A) he sucks...his best case scenario is a committee back on a bad team, and his best game of the year was last week where he scored 8 fantasy points in a game where his team scored 36 points;
  
  and
  
  B) LA Dons probably wants to do their annual splurge on NFL draft-eligible guys now that they've been eliminated from the playoffs, but it won't let you do that when your team is over the limit (which it was, and that cut put him at 21/21 so he can do his thing). Cutting anyone else on his roster for the same purpose would have been just as egregious; even cutting Mike White is potentially handing someone a useful starting QB during the championship week.
  
  Lastly, in all likelihood this is a non-issue as Zack Moss shouldn't sniff EZ's starting lineup unless there's a series of unfortunate events that befall 12 random football players that are all better than Zack Moss, akin to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant Softball Team.

• Ludicrous… no worries. I think most of us feel like we are with you just and trying to keep our rosters someways together using chicken wire and duct tape…which reminds me of a little joke
  
  An old man is sitting on his front porch one morning, enjoying the weather and having a cup of coffee.
  
  Suddenly he sees a young boy walking down the road carrying several rolls of duct tape. This obviously makes him curious so he calls out, "hey son, what are you doing with all that duct tape?" The little boy replies, "I'm going to catch some ducks sir!" The old man chuckles and calls out, "son don't be silly. You can't catch ducks with duct tape!" The little boy just smiles and yells "well I'm gonna try."
  
  Several hours pass and the old man is out in his yard when the little boy walks past him dragging a whole bunch of ducks. The old man just scratches his head and go's about his business.
  
  The next morning the old man is having his morning coffee on the porch as usual and the little boy comes walking down the road. As he gets closer the old man notices he is carrying a bunch of chicken wire. He wonders what the lad is up to so he calls out "excuse me young man! What's all that chicken wire for?" The little boy calls out "I'm going to catch me some chickens!" The old man scoffs and says "son that's not what chicken wire is for! You're not gonna get any chickens with that!" The young boy happily crys out "well I'm gonna try!"
  
  Later that day the old man notices the boy walking down the road dragging several chickens. He shakes his head and says, "well I'll be damned".
  
  A few days later the old man is on his porch, having his morning coffee when the same little boy comes running down the road carrying a bundle of sticks. The old man wonders what this is all about so he calls out "hey son! What do you got there?" The little boy yells back, "pussy willows sir!" The old man stands up and says "wait up, let me grab my hat".
