• Yes, I’ve done Otto drafts from a phone before. It’s not as easy as an ESPN mobile draft, but it’s doable.

• Rather than including a bunch of start times in the doc, I just put a generic AM/PM. Once we get the general availability, we can zero in on a start time but assume AM = 10am-12pm ET start and PM = 7pm-9pm ET start.

• I mean, 3 are currently locked and abandoned and have been for 3+ weeks, including my friend. You are locked out until you pay, so it's impossible for those who haven't paid to change their lineups.
  
  But 2 are the most problematic. Achilles told me he'll pay.
  
  1. Post Hype declared his intent at the beginning of the season to be out. He's 3-9, and he was starting players on a bye week even before rosters were locked.
  2. Action Boss is in the thick of the playoffs and still hasn't paid, and thus started four players on a bye this week.

• Just want to point out that there are still 3 unpaid teams. Post Hype said he's out a few months ago, and Action Boss actually currently holds the 6th playoff spot and would have won this week, but started 4 players on a bye. Achilles is my buddy and he said he will pay (ahem...reminder).
  
  Anyways, we need to figure this out soon because 1st and 2nd are going to get fucked over if they win and the teams are not all claimed.
  
  Reading through the message board, what I've seen is that the league will revert to an unpaid league, and all of the paid players (9 or 10) will get a refund of their "prize portions" -- which in our case is $75, since our collective buy-in was $1,200 but the prizes only total $900. So all paid members who paid $100, will get a refund of $75. Including 1st and 2nd place. So instead of winning $600 and $300, you'll get to enjoy a nice refund of $75.

  Important excerpt: "If your league has an expired team that was not paid for this season, we do a check that will result in your league being bumped down to a non-prize league and prize portion of the league fees returned to everyone who paid. This is exceedingly rare, but it is up to your league to put the effort in to find replacement managers to avoid this scenario. The Managers Wanted forums 3 are generally quite good at finding replacement managers. I would strongly recommend posting to that forum and trying to find some people up for the rebuild challenge."
  
  So while it's actually personally better for me to get my $75 back because my team sucks, it blows for 1st and 2nd place and I'd like to see us try to take care of them.
  
  For what it's worth, they are no longer requiring SSNs to make payments...so Post Hype and Action, if you even see this message, you can still pay and not need to give your SSN.

• So the trade that I just agreed to with Ludicrous Speed is scheduled to complete at 12:57pm on Sunday, three minutes before the first NFL games kickoff but roughly two minutes after rosters lock for those early games. Unless anyone objects, we're going to manually move players at around 12:30pm on Sunday so players can be moved into place before active rosters lock. If you want to veto the trade, you have 47 hours, 33 minutes to do so, rather than the full 48 hours.
  
  Because we can't manually create loans, I'm going to lower Ekeler's salary temporarily so I don't get locked out of my team. I'm also going to keep Freiermuth on my team (currently on IR and not playing), and then create a new trade with Ludicrous Speed and Freiermuth for the correct loan amount. After the Freiermuth trade clears on Tuesday, I'll readjust Ekeler's salary to $104, and everything will be square.
  
  TLDR: the site locks rosters five minutes before kickoff for some weird reason and to honor the spirit of this trade before Sunday's games, we're going to manually make a series of transactions that will simulate the trade had it been made 10 minutes earlier!
  
  Again, if anyone isn't cool with this, no hard feelings. Just let me know and we'll resubmit the trade so that it doesn't compromise our rosters this Sunday.

• It seems like he's still working with the payment processor to waive the requirement for SSN fees, based on Niv's response on the message board. Also, I don't even see a link anymore at the top for paying. So even if I decided I was ready to pay, I wouldn't be sure how to do it!
  
  That said, I'm still on the fence and still waiting to hear.
  
  He also said that in the event that owners vacate their teams after the deadline, that commissioners should be proactive in posting their league's open teams on the Ottoneu board looking for takers.
