• So the latest update on the last playoff spot- Miami is eliminated by virtue of same record as Doomsday but less points. If Magic City wins, he's in via 7 wins to Doomsday's 6. If Hopsmacker wins, he needs to score at least 138 points to jump Miami on points with same number of wins (6). Big game in Arizona tonight!

• If I'm looking at it right, Miami is in with a win. Doomsday is in with a win over Miami by over 13 points. Magic City is in with a win AND a Miami loss. Hopsmacker is in with a Doomsday win, Hop win and Hop scores 26 more points than Doomsday. There is a scenario for Establish the Pass to get in, but he'd have to put up an insane amount of points.

• In the off-season - we can vote on this. I can't make any changes for this year though. We have no secret bylaws - the only "bylaw" we have is I sort the divisions by total points for next season to try and balance the divisions

• Ok. Based on past seasons, it is based on overall records. But, not sure of tiebreaker because in 2020, the team who was tied for 2nd best record but had less points than the other 9-4 team got the bye week.

• To be fair, ottoneu baseball has been around for a long while now and while limited in some regards, runs fairly nicely because fangraphs is a baseball site and not football. More data and support to some degree. Ottoneu is also not yahoo or espn who I feel care waaaay more about football than anything. My understanding is it’s really one guy who handles a lot of the stuff for ottoneu. Not trying to justify slowness etc but really ottoneu/fangraphs is baseball at its heart and is frankly nice enough to try and accomadate football. Just offering some perspective

• Appreciate the dialogue. There were several proposals to work out what we thought was fair. I reached out to him as he had two top QBs and you only need one (which I don’t have). And yes, I regret the Hurts trade but I traded low cost high upside for win now players (who all were cut this year but helped last year and he landed Hurts which has turned out to be worth his risk).

• I dont understand how this is a bad haul- 3 prospects for low cost that are top 5 at their position. Last year Chuba had a lot of helium in October, Hurts is arguably a better asset than Lamar (definitely was last year), and Kyren put up crazy numbers in NCAA in 2021. Maybe theyre colluding but its pretty big allegations for not much evidence.

• So last year, Contender sends Jalen Hurts to Intruders for Lamar Jackson and Diontae Johnson- a terrible trade from the start. Now Intruders sends Lamar Jackson back to Contender again for an even worse haul.
