• I’m the last person who should be weighing in on it though because clearly, I’m just out for personal gain. It just so happens in this case personal gain is also what common sense and justice being served. But it’s 400 bucks it’s not gonna change my life so if the website doesn’t have the commissioners tools that should I’m not stunned I’ve been playing baseball on the site for 11 years and it is what it is.

• Niv doesn't have a good solution because every single league is different and has different circumstances. This league happens to be one where it is very clear who should have won the week. You have the ability to ensure that happens. Why this is even a discussion is wild to me.

• I assume commissioners tools can do lineup corrections, like they can on every other platform. I’ve never been a commissioner for football on this site. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong and his sister lousy break for me… not as well as you have a break as it was for the guy who died and had to be brought back to life obviously so I maintain some perspective. But if commissioners are able to edit lineups for other managers, what is the can in every other format I think it’s logical.

• But we have commissioners, and they have commissioners tools, and we had a very simple fix that was pointed out days before this was finalized and nobody did what was common sense. Obviously, I’m gonna sound selfish with this point because I’m the one negatively impacted in this but it’s also common sense, and the ball was dropped on just the simplest action.

• Not defending the rationale, but their thought process is that since the NFL is not counting the stats, and the leagues use official NFL stats, that must mean the stats are zero. Again, not defending it or saying it’s the fairest outcome, but that’s the “logic”

• Seems the easy option is to have the commissioner edit the lineup for Shower to start DJohnson in Tee Higgins place. Would need to be done today so it is finalized before season ends today. Shower was already up when the game was postponed, but when the stats get zeroed out he loses. I don't know why Niv and other sites wouldn't simply treat it like the game ended there and instead zero totals out.

• FFPC did the same as Ottoneu - treated the Bills’ and Bengals’ players as if they were on a bye week, zeroed out the stats, and finalized the week’s and season’s results/made the payouts. Tough spot for the league organizers like Niv. No matter what choice he makes, it changes outcomes in many leagues

• Ok. Any stats from that game will be zero. If the game is canceled or postponed to be restarted from scratch at a later date, the stats will be included or discarded accordingly and the fantasy football season will be finalized.

• If there is any kind of vote, I would agree with just subbing out one of his bench players for Higgins so it becomes a W for Shower. He already had the game wrapped up in 1Q and if they turn around and cancel the game because it won't have an impact on playoffs, I wouldn't want to see issues from players' stats zeroing out and then it becomes a fiasco with prize money.

• I agree, Dr Shower. It’s all insignificant in the grand scheme of things, so I don’t care what the outcome is. I just hope the young man recovers and can live a reasonably normal life.

• It’s not like $400 is life altering money so that’s not at all my concern. Logically, either of our commissioners could just do a lineup edit to put Dionte Johnson in for me & bench Higgins and there’s really no controversy. It’s all pretty ridiculous to discuss and completely insignificant & I understand there’s no good outcomes and that this really doesn’t matter.

  To cancel the game completely and not allow alternative players in the lineup would not be fair. To allow week 18 also would be less fair if many on your area sitting. I don't have an answer though.

The second part he clarifies that "If this holds up through the day, the 2022 Ottoneu Fantasy Football season will be considered complete with no stats from last night’s game counting since it was postponed" which makes me believe that Akers becomes the champ by postponement?
