• Games not until Sunday I can't trade can't change my lineup, so I am completely locked down. Technically my lineup is "legal" if someone claims Howard, why would I cut another guy in anticipation that could end up a waste.

• What exactly does "all in good time" mean? It doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the rules to allow a team to be over the cap. It doesn't fly in baseball, is this normal in football leagues?

• I am almost positive that Mahomes was shopped to other owners besides me. If you don't like the return he got then you don't like the return, but there definitely wasn't some type of secret pact to do this trade prior to week 1. Other teams could have made a run at him.

• The average salary is misleading because he was such a breakout last year. In new leagues, it's close to 70. This was also true before our draft (can't remember exactly), I don't think the $92 price in this league is a huge outlier.
  
  I am done bitching about the trade, it's fine. I rarely vote to veto, just thought it was odd timing between the draft and week one.
  
  I hope there are a lot more trades going through, definitely my favorite aspect of the site... and I still have 2 too many qbs.

• But, valid point on there is an email when a trade is accepted. It should be on the members of the league to keep up, especially if they want to assess the trade and consider vetoing.

• Full disclosure, I also voted to veto, because the trade seems pretty absurd. 7 out of 12 members is a high enough barrier that if it's reached, there is probably something wrong with that trade.

• It's hard to even consider a possible outcome that would agree with your assessment of this trade and the players involved... 2 days after the auction... where all owners basically reach a consensus on the value of the players.
  
  I could see the argument of "it's my money I can spend it how I want" more if anything significant happened to impact the value of the players involved, like a role change, injury, or good performance.

• I disagree, an email is sent when a trade is a made. Every persons opinion of players is different. Vetoing based on your opinion of players is silly, everybody paid so everyone has skin in the game. Unless it's collusion or injury there isn't any reason for veto.

• I normally would support 24 hour trades... but that last one is ridiculously lopsided. I'd hate for some shit like that to go through because people didnt check the site that day... for the record, I voted to veto.

• FYI. For anyone new to Ottoneu, make sure you have money to field a team when doing trades. This is the purpose of loans. This one seems correct. You don't want to do a trade and then have to make cuts to get under your team's cap
