• What I am seeing is that on the weekly lineup screen I can set players on my roster that started the week on my roster. The players I traded away are greyed out on my weekly lineup screen. The players I received I can't set on my weekly lineup screen. My daily lineup screen works correctly though. I am guessing that your weekly lineup screen shows players you may have cut or picked up as greyed out. I am using the desktop version of the site in Chrome.

• I see what BC is saying. The two guys I traded away this week are still listed on my weekly lineup page, but greyed out. I'll reach out to Niv to see if that will clear by itself at week's end, or if he needs to do something to it.

• Not sure if doing from mobile or desktop, but on mobile the weekly can look misleading and all greyed out. If you click on the BN for today and future days, you should get a drop down to set their position. Not really intuitive without a down arrow or something to indicate, but those fields are clickable.

• I noticed yesterday after my trade processed that the players I previously owned were greyed out on the weekly lineup section. The new players couldn't be set from the weekly lineup section either. However if you click on "Daily" on the lineup screen you should be able to set your lineup correctly from that screen. I checked and what shows on the daily lineup screen is accurate and it is what is reflected in the matchups. It appears roster changes mid week may prevent some lineup setting from the weekly lineup screen. Try clicking on "Daily" in the "View" section of the Lineup tab.

• I feel ya man. I read the rules 10x over myself to avoid as many growing pains as possible. I would help you if I could do so without hurting my team in the process.

• I see Killian Hayes was $1 so you would need to cut a $2+ player. I would suggest cutting a player that you believe will be bid on or picked up off waivers to recoup the cap penalty. I would pick up Brandon Clarke for example.

• Even if someone claims him on waivers he wouldn’t return salary until that processes. You are going to have to cut to clear cap space. I might be willing to take him and trade him back to you if you have a player at the same price that I want, but that doesn’t solve your immediate problem.

• I'm interested in trading Leonard and Fox. I updated my trade block to list a few players I like, but if you have interest in either let me know and I will look at your roster to see if there is a deal I am interested in as well. I will move any of my players if it makes sense for me, so just because they aren't listed doesn't mean they are off limits.

• If everyone arrives on time, and has their watchlist populated with a couple hundred guys, this thing should go well. Unprepared people slow it down. The first 75 picks do indeed take a long time. But once the money available begins to dry up, it accelerates at an unbelievable rate. Anticipate when your turn to nominate comes, and have a player ready. I've perused the team owners and several in this league are participating in their first ottoneu draft. Be patient with those guys for a bit as it takes a round or so to pickup the cadence, and then let's roll on thru this. Good luck to everyone!!

• My hockey auction on yahoo took around 3 hours with 273 picks, but went pretty fast. This is 300 picks and auction drafts can vary a lot.

• I should say it shows 7-11pm for me. It doesn't specify a time zone, but I am in CST so I believe if you have it set to 8pm EST/EDT it is auto adjusting the time zone to match my time zone.

• When I signed up I was expecting the draft to be at the time listed of Oct 16th 8pm EDT. I convinced a friend and my brother to try this format by telling them that was the draft time. The draft times listed in your poll are during the work day except on Sunday. I know myself and the two that I convinced to join are busy on Saturdays, and are at work until 7pm EDT M-F. Any time Sunday works for me, and any time after 7pm EDT works for me on weeknights.

Even though this is just a $20 league, I will be paying the champion $100 each year just to keep things interesting.
