• Crossover Kankel you make an excellent point and my freak out is over now that I’m able to find more than two potential waiver additions so with a little luck I’ll sneak into the playoffs and I do agree that the commissioner went above and beyond I was just pissed at myself because I was focusing on drafting for these two other leagues I don’t care nearly as much about so I was more frustrated at myself then anyone

• Your going to be fine, you have a star heavy roster. I've missed a draft and still made the playoffs in an Otto league before, and have seen others do so as well. You probably need to change your email settings so Ottoneu emails don't go to a spam folder. I think Quichottes went above and beyond in scheduling. Waiting and hoping folks will reply is a failed strategy when committing fantasy leagues. Trade me Luka. Cheers - Leif

• Thank you I am now able to find many more players on waivers unfortunately they’re all scrubs but I’ll do the best in my current situation but to Address one of your earlier questions about what I could’ve done in the draft anyways with my $28 in Space and a max bid of 13 and my answer is I could have done the following which would have totaled 22 in cap space

• Yeah Mt Splashmore is echoing what I said - you're searching from the wrong thing. There's hundreds of players for each position when you search under the name search bar.

• You’re searching the “Top Players”, you need to select a position under the search bar, check free agents only then press search. It takes a second but it will load more players.

• One look at the draft history from Monday makes it pretty obvious why this will be a lost season as there were so many bargains to be had but now there are only two players left available which I don’t fully understand because I thought I recall last season that there were several players on the waiver wire throughout the season so I don’t get how all NBA players except for two are able to be on one of our 12 rosters

• But I’m telling you that there are only two players listed as available free agents I would encourage you to try and do the search you’re describing to me because I believe your results will be exactly the same as mine….. I don’t need to see every player in the NBA I only need to see the players that aren’t already on one of the teams in this league and at the moment it’s indicating that there are only two such players (Dante De & Killian Haynes) ….. and the lack of players that I can build out my roster with is the reason why I said this is pretty much going to be a wasted year …. Unless you’re able to help me figure out some other past forward to fill out my roster

To answer your question about the Bigger problem of me not getting league emails, During training camp and throughout the season I am checking the League page multiple times a day so I’m not relying on emails to notify me of what’s going on

• Again, Boston, I am sorry you missed draft and realise it was relatively early considering the season is a month away but there was chat about people in the league wanting the draft early, which is why I sent out the poll and multiple emails.

• I get that Boston Classics is disappointed to have missed the draft. Any of us would be. But what’s this notion that your season is over? You have $28 in cap space and a max bid of like $13. What did you think you were going to do in this draft?
  
  If you don’t get Otto emails in your inbox, that’s a bigger problem that will extend beyond knowing when the draft is. Knowing when league activity occurs is pretty fundamental to participating in Otto, and I don’t know how anyone can compete without knowing when auctions begin or players are cut.
  
  All this said, I have a bunch of $1 bench players that I will happily trade if you’re interested.

• I'm talking about the bit below the name search - i think you might be hitting the "top players" bit. The bit below the search bar has "position", "level" and "options." Should come up with every NBA player when you search that way.

• Unfortunately I just paid the $50 to re-up this year a week or so ago too … The emails that you said were sent got put into my promo folder which I never check because it’s always spam / advertisements ….. Since we still have like a month till the season starts I really wish you could have pushed it back a couple weeks until you got confirmation from me and then obviously if you’re within a couple weeks of the season I understand why you wouldn’t be able to wait anymore but considering I had just re-paid my dues for this year you knew that I was going to be returning …. It’s not your fault I’m just pissed for wasting $50 and not being able to compete in this league this year

• With regards to players you have to use the bit below the "name" search. Narrow it down by position and tick "FA Only" and it should bring up who is available.

• I think that would be a bad idea, less playoff teams means less late season interest. The playoffs are the driving force behind involvement. Player usage was a little frustrating in the finals last year, but no more than finals in football/baseball each season. I'd vote for maximum playoff teams. Also its a H2H league, in a points format I think shrinking the playoffs works better.
