• I'll zag - I'm ever so slightly pro-cup. I've felt the very mild jolt of excitement it injects into the doldrums of this part of the schedule. The games do seem to end up being good pretty often. I don't know how objective that is but the games FEEL better to me than average November/December games of the past. And I actually love the courts. That's my favorite part.

• The only IRL conversations I've had about the in-season tourney have been about the disgusting court designs. I purposefully don't watch the games. I kind of hope it's cancelled lol. No disrespect to anyone does enjoy it.

• I was watching a game on ESPN two or three weeks ago and the broadcast team was going all-in on trying to make the Emirates NBA Cup™ sound exciting. It was kind of sad. I'm not sure if anyone here cares, but I don't think I've talked to any basketball fans IRL who care about the tournament. It seems like most of the players don't even care about it.

• It looks like more games have been added to the schedule, as well. I was texting with Hield this morning about how Atlanta and Dallas weren't playing this week. Now they are. Just like the IST as a whole, I don't get it.

• The Pacers are not involved in the remaining IST this year so I didn't know what was happening, but this may need to be something that these leagues take into account for scheduling purposes. It's going to be a lean week.

• Sorry for the delay y’all! I’ve been in GM meetings all week with Full of Helliburton. He’s being completely unreasonable about revenue sharing and doesn’t want his team to play on Hulu for the foreseeable future. That said we were able to get a deal done. The draft is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 2 at 8pm EST. Looking forward to another great season.

• The two teams that haven't updated the calendar yet have 14 roster spots to fill and $50 between them. 8 spots and $24 for Heliburton and 6 spots and $26 for Slick. Hopefully, they can also make the October 2nd date that everyone else has open. How good are the auto-draft options in these drafts?

• Hello all..took over NEXT..hope it was available..been a minute since Ive played NBA and only one time NBA on OTT..been on OTT for many years in NFL & MLB so should figure out NBA easily but have not followed NBA alot last couple years..crash course ahead..but will always make lineups daily..meet deadlines..and will always be active in trades etc..Ty and looking forward to a fun season
