  • A PSA for newer Otto players: If any pitcher is *starting* a game, do *not* put them in the "RP" slot or they will not accumulate stats from that start. Doesn't matter if they're "SP/RP." Not too ashamed to admit I just found this out the hard way and had to look it up on the forums for confirmation.

  • Outgoing loans allow you to balance salaries when you're making trades. So, Player X is $10, Player Y is $5. A loan for $5 will help balance the dollars. You can absolutely use budgeted dollars as a part of trades to get, or give money back. Generally most trades/loans will balance at $0, but your extra cap space ABSOLUTELY has value. Even a $1 or $2 can be important to your opponents.
