A PSA for newer Otto players: If any pitcher is *starting* a game, do *not* put them in the "RP" slot or they will not accumulate stats from that start. Doesn't matter if they're "SP/RP." Not too ashamed to admit I just found this out the hard way and had to look it up on the forums for confirmation.

Players on 10 day, 15 day or MIILB 60 day injury list take up a roster spot. players on the 60 day IL do not take up a roster spot.

Outgoing loans allow you to balance salaries when you're making trades. So, Player X is $10, Player Y is $5. A loan for $5 will help balance the dollars. You can absolutely use budgeted dollars as a part of trades to get, or give money back. Generally most trades/loans will balance at $0, but your extra cap space ABSOLUTELY has value. Even a $1 or $2 can be important to your opponents.
