• The league name is homage paid to our GDR league that I had been running since 2005. I don't know how generic ottoneu leagues are named, but this is a specific name to me and some of our long time league mates.

• Thanks for the efforts commish. I think the GS cap sounds like a good compromise. As for the allocation method, I'd like to propose that we plan to keep that going forward and don't revisit. It would make things too difficult to go back-and-forth on that. Looking forward to 2019!

• All the votes are in. We are keeping allocation method, it was a clear majority (83%). The GS matchup was extremely spread out. A 75% majority voted in favour of a cap, so I factored those as voting unlimited as votes for a cap of 10. I compromised and set the cap to 9 since that was the average of the votes. We can try it for a year and then vote again in the next offseason.

• GSB hasn't signed in since October 27, did not participate in Arbitration, did not respond about renewing and has not voted...I'd say it sounds like he's not coming back. Out of an abundance of caution, I would suggest sending him a final message that he needs to act by December 17 or the league is going to assume he is not coming back. That gives him a week to do something. If he doesn't, you can post his team. Hopefully it gets taken quickly, the new owner votes and perhaps everyone can know

• Personally, I think we should set the deadline earlier for this vote as the format will dictate teams’ strategy. I guess the question I would have is how close is the vote? If 7 teams want a GS cap, then the last vote doesn’t matter and it’s really a question of how many per week.

• We now have 11 active owners. Genoa Salami Boxers was active for the full season, but did not participate in Arbitration and was the only one to not respond to my email about renewing. I would like to keep the voting open until all 12 owners are active so what deadline do we set for the last owner to participate? I had initially thrown out Jan 15th, but wanted to see what everyone else says.
