I can't do Saturday 4/2, but can do Friday or Sunday afternoon/evening.
-
Any opposing the weekend of 4/1-4/3 Last week before the season starts. We aren’t getting 100% availability in the coming too so figured it’s worth a shot.
-
Can-o-corn is the only one not showing available for that slot. Was he sent the link for the poll?
-
Not sure if I voted for 3/20 or not but I am good for that date—- just have another fantasy draft at 7 pm est
-
Looks like we have 11 of 12 available on Sunday afternoon, 3/20?
-
If it comes down to it, I can help find a proxy to draft for a missing manager. I've done it before and it generally works out fine. Owner leaves a few notes for the proxy drafter and they fill out the team during the draft. Let me know as it approaches and I'll do the leg work if needed.
-
OK just added a few more hours on each day to accommodate later draft times. Please revisit. This league has never drafted without 12/12 and I don't intend to start now!!
-
I can also extend the poll to weekdays and look past 4pm on the weekends for us pacific folks. That was my mistake as I made the poll in eastern thinking it was pacific.
-
I'm asking everyone to please take another look at the doodle poll. We have unfortunately not found a slot that gives us 12/12 draftees. We may have to revert to a weeknight or another weekend that would normally be in-season but if you could all take another look and try to make something work that would be appreciated.

Welcome Can-o-Corn, thank you for picking up the abandoned team right before the cut deadline! On another note, it looks like about 10 of us are in for a private money pool so we'll need to get those details locked in before the draft. I'm still leaning towards using a 3rd party service but let me know if anybody has ideas. $50 sounds about right?
-
Thanks y'all. First time manager so don't expect much of myself this year but I'm happy to be here! Could only fight the urge for so long. Saw an opening and had to pull the trigger.

Warm welcome to our newest owner!
-
Nothing official yet on the draft day, just making sure we don't get locked into something in feb. Rules voting is really close for the SP cap in the playoffs so we'll need every vote.
-
And here is the 2022 rules link!

FYI Times are pacific (-8)

Let the Draft Day scheduling begin! Sorry in advance for all the clicking, this is the way we've done it every year but if anybody has a better tool please let me know for next year. Sticking with just weekends for now.

*disqualified from winning money

Sounds good to me. I’m in it to win it, although I’m not stoked on my chances!

I think for anybody that want's to opt in to a $50 league we can do that. If you don't pay then you're just disqualified and the prize jumps to the next man up. We can also use a system like leaguesafe to collect it. Thoughts?
-
It looks like we'd be back to the idea of having the money paid out not through this website if we want to jump a tier up. I'm open to it.
-
Mine is about to expire. Also, hopefully everyone has noticed the keeper deadline has been extended.
-
I've already paid for the year - I think my team usually expires around New Years. Happy to do whatever I need to with it if we all want to move up a price tier though.
-
Looks like we have everyone returning! I don't think I'll be able to change the prize tier through the league settings, it locks once somebody has already paid for the upcoming season. I don't think that is still reflecting 2021. If anybody has paid, can you confirm? Thanks.
-
Im on for both! NY has also legalized gambling so I'm allowed to give away my $ when my team breaks my heart again!
-
Count me in for both too.
-
I’m in for both!
-
I'm in for the $50 tier, not sure if we still have anybody that can't?
-
I still need confirmations from some of the league, I asked earlier because I also had someone interested. If we have two open slots its good to know we have the players to fill them. If you plan on returning please let me know ASAP (if you haven't already) because the keeper deadline is fast approaching. Hoping to have this figured out by 1/15 at the latest.

Two questions: First - has everyone confirmed that they are returning for 2022? I have a buddy who is interested in joining if there is availability. Second - shall we revisit the idea of bumping up to a $50 league with prizes? Virginia has legalized gambling so I’m eligible now.
-
No commissioner override on trades even if lopsided as stated in rule book. You guys will probably have to trade back tomorrow unless every league member is on top of vetoing it.

Ok we’lol get the trade corrected. It seemed lopsided for sure.
-
The powers at be; it appears the pending trade between myself/Wright stuff was not meant to be— can we remove/cancel the trade
-
Hey all, I think my wifi was laggy or something, I attempted to counter that offer, not accept it, is there a way to reverse the acceptance or just vote it down?
-
nice LOTR ref!
-
Looks like trades are back on the menu boys! All trade offers welcomed. Let’s get crazy.

Y'all are killing me, couldn't let Adley make it to the bigs without raising his salary?
-
Reminder to all that Arbitration has started! Please allocate all dollars or none will count. Arb is extremely important to competitive balance in our Dynasty league and off season planning.
-
LOL hitless good jab, I like it. And you make a good counter-point. I appreciate the perspective. I think that is why the loan system is in place I was just thinking maybe we put a limit on it for the upper bounds. Just an idea and I appreciate any other feedback.
-
I meant to say that having to cut players increases the turnover of the player pool.
-
I figured as a Dodgers fan you’d be in favor of teams with massive budgets (sorry, had to). I think an unintended consequence of this is it will make bad teams remain bad for longer. There’s no “rookie draft”, so by setting a cap you discourage good teams from sending off their young talent to struggling teams. Also, when teams take on massive loans they have to make tough decisions to cut good players they may have otherwise kept, limiting the turnover in the player pool.

Yeah to clarify, the normal cap would still be at $400 but I would manually veto any trade that put a team above a certain threshold whether that be 450, 475, or 500. Just a thought and would like feedback from any of you. I know there is a penalty to taking on cap in that most of the time you have to give up something in return but I feel it can almost be a bit too easy for a losing team to loan $70 for relatively small return.
-
Nevermind, I re-read your post and realized you mean like a salary cap/ceiling that can't be exceeded. I'm with you now.
-
What's the benefit of increasing the salary?
-
Thank you to all on another great year. Please message me if you plan on returning to the league, we have great turnover rate as a group, I think we've only lost one team each season but would like to get teams in line for 2022. I'll be sending out a poll again for next years rules but I'm pondering switching the format to 7-10 Starts in the postseason with all 5 slots. Also the idea of a team cap at $450 or $475 but as always will look to you all for a majority vote. Any feedback is welcome!

Congratz Walker Beuhler's Day Off on the title!
-
Great season everyone, this league is the best. Now I need to find something to do with all the time each day I usually spend staring at my roster and browsing the waiver wire.
-
Thanks Jeters, your team sure had me pretty worried.
-
Walker! Congratulations sir! Well played throughout the playoffs— Modesto/Scared Hitless/Dragonflies also had very good seasons. Another fun year of ottoneu fellas… looking forward to the off-season moves!
