• I have heard from all but two owners about the draft, and no one is unavailable on March 18. There were preferences for both the 11am and 3pm time, so I split the difference and set the auction time for 1pm EST. Hope that works for everyone.

• Hi. It has not yet been two weeks since I sent the last message. But the update is this:
  
  I am still waiting to hear from four owners, one is our new team, who I just sent a direct message.

  I also prefer a live draft. The slow draft last season was in an established league; our commish entered everyone's team and set the draft pool manually. It is a lot more work for me, but doable. I would want a couple weeks to prepar

• Where are we on the draft date? I haven't seen anyone reject the proposed date, but not sure how many non-responses there are. One note on slow drafts: they are fine for new leagues, but I think would not work so well for an older league. One issue (and not the only one), is that someone would have to populate each teams' keepers in the Couch Manager site so that the correct players/cash would be available. I, for one, would definitely prefer a live draft.

• I changed the trade-wait time period and did not notice that the draft date had auto-filled as February 1 at 7pm EST. That is not the draft date and time. We can discuss that and decide much later.

  So far we have six in favor of changing the wait time for trades from 48 hours to 24. I am indifferent, which means, at most, five might be opposed to the change. Trades are not allowed until after arbitration, so there is no hurry. But I also see no reason to wait, as there appears to be no opposition.
  
  So, for the 2023 season our new trade approval period will be 24 hours, rather than 48.

• For the proposed rule change, let's take a bit and discuss. I am I different, and we have two in favor with no stated opposition. Between now and the beginning of arb, if you have an opinion, please chime in on the message board. There is no need to hurry, nothing will be decided right away, but if we can get a sense of the league's disposition early in the off-season, before winter sets in and baseball is forgotten, all the better.

• One of the options in league settings is to make the wait period to complete a trade either 24 hours or 48 hours (from acceptance). Currently we are set to 48 hours. I propose we change to 24 hours. Other leagues I'm in have 24 hours and I prefer that. Now that the season is over, it is a good time to make that change. Any opinions / objections?
