• Btw I think I understand the value of the auto bid functionality now. I just submitted a 13$ bid for Senga. It then updated Ballard of Sandfrog bid of 12$ for him to 13$ (He is also still winning). So he saved 1$ as he didn't auto bid 14$. Also, the timer did not reset as his offer wasn't beat. So leverage auto-bid for players you really really want.

• I agree, really like this slow draft module alot. It removes the issue if someone loses internet for a couple of mins where a live draft might screw you. Also mucho easier coordinating time with everyone. Thanks for looking into this commish!

• I’ll go the other way and say I like couchmanagers so far. But, we are less than 24 hours in so assessments can change. Maybe it’s a little clunky but no more, and probably less so, than the Ottoneu draft platform. Do I check bid status too often? Yes but that’s just who I am.

• I agree it’s tricky. Was just thinking about bidding strategy and what happens if there is an injury during the auction of that player. I’m okay if we decide “such is life,” but also thought maybe we should discuss this before it is a real thing (which at the rate people are going down, seems inevitable).

• I feel like resetting auctions due to injuries is a tricky thing. What level of injury justifies a reset? Lux out for the season, sure. But what about a Musgrove that's out for a few weeks with a broken toe and maybe doesn't miss any regular season starts? Or someone with an oblique that's scheduled to miss 4-6 weeks... That feels hard to manage in a way that everyone agrees with. That being said, if it's something most people want, we can figure it out.

• Also posted in the couchmanagers chat: Hypothetical: a player gets injured while the auction for that player is live. Can we undo that auction? Seems to me the 24 hour window would warrant that. Ok either way but would support such a reset if the injury occurred in that window.

• Yep. Two nominations to each manager. You'll see in real time whether or not you are the current high bidder on someone. Only the current high bidder has their $$$ locked up in a player. So if you get outbid, you could bid higher on that player or immediately shift your money to someone else.

• Spanky's, to answer your question - yes. If you have a $40 high bid on Degrom, someone else bids $41, and there is less than 12 hours left - that auction will have time added to it. 12 hours actually, I mistakenly wrote 8 hours in an earlier note.

• Auction works like an eBay system. You can put your max bid in (make sure you do NOT select "make Max bid Real bid" button) and the system
  
  Each team will have 2 nominations. When those players auctions are complete, you will get your nominations back. Please do your best to stay on top of your nominations when you have them.

• Greetings! I plan to start the auction by 9a Eastern. Auctions are 24 hours and add an additional 8 hours if someone is outbid and there is less than 12 hours left on that auction. It’s helpful for everyone to stay on top of their nominations, but don’t feel like you need to log in right at 9a Eastern or be constantly checking your bids.

• Sorry, Spanky's. I could have been more clear/worded that wrong. You can draft to your bench while you have "starting" slots open. You just can't get an extra bench spot by leaving a starting slot open. For example, at the end of the draft, if you only drafted one catcher and tried to use that 2nd catcher slot for another position.

• Thanks for sending this out! A quick question though. We have to fill starting spots prior to bench? So as an example I currently don’t have a second baseman/ second catcher. If someone I want doesn’t get put out there or I miss out on a guy and want to wait for like a $1 2b or C from what you said I can’t bud on higher end guys? If that’s correct seems like a disadvantage. I know when we draft on Otto this rule isn’t there

• On a desktop, in the bottom right of your the screen (in very small print!), is an edit team name button. It took me sometime to find it. On mobile, you can find it in the settings tab. I’m traveling today, but will follow up on remaining stragglers by tomorrow..
