Congrats to Coom Dogs as well. Watching Iglesias falter in the ninth inning of Sunday Night Baseball and then Max Muncy hit a home run was one of the most dissapointing fantasy sports experiences for me. Still it was an exciting way to end our first season of playoffs. I hope everyone is back for next year.

Ottoneu has roster rules for a playoff league. Any team can continue to make roster moves including cuts, adds, trades, and claims until the MLB season officially ends, irrespective of league playoff conclusion. All teams are of course still bound by the $400 salary cap and roster spots. So, those in the playoff can continue to try to win the head to head matchups while those not in the playoff can continue to build for next year.

Agree this is not something to worry about until later in the season, but there are legit reasons for dropping players late. Maybe we should settle on a rule long before the deadline - on one hand, I can see a rule where you shouldn't have auctions once the playoffs start. But on the other hand, that might be too rigid if players get hurt. And, what about teams out of the playoffs? - I see it as legit to drop expensive players to pick up cheap prospects when your season is basically done.

The trade deadline should be before the start of playoffs so that won't be an issue. If I see anything super suspicious, like IDK dropping Cole with 2 starts before a playoff week, I can always back it out. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

If playoffs are a go this season, how would you address any dead teams and prevent collusion with teams that are no longer competitive?
