• We do not use the vote-off process in this league--we use the other competitive balance option, allocation--so no worries there. Salary increases did go into effect, so you are looking at 2022 salaries. You are correct that there are no penalties for dropping players now--though it would be much better to simply trade your good ones to me!

  Sorry if I ask a few dumb questions on the message board. Where are we currently in the offseason process, did salary increases go into effect and restricted free agent process happen?
  
  Also, reading through the rules it looks like some penalties for dropping players. Is it correct that is only for inseason? For instance, I don't want Justin Turner, if I drop him now will it just clear $21 in cap space?

• That is correct! From now until 1/31 you can cut/trade players. On 1/31 the rosters will basically freeze until the draft is completed. At that time you will be able to trade or cut (with penalty) until the in season trade deadline.
