It was definitely a tough battle until the past week or so. Congrats to the other players who finished in the money as well.

Since no one objects I'm going to place player back on makers of the sexy later today
-
I think it was pretty clear that it was an accident since I posted right away. But, honestly, I don't really care that much. So, if I get him back at his original price, cool. If I don't, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

I think that's fair
-
Charge him double to get him back
-
Ok all this is the first time this has happened. A player was cut but accident and the owner has asked for me to place back on his team any objections?
-
Oops, Commish, can you please put Isan Diaz back onto my team as I meant to cut someone else?

Scherzer anyone?
-
With Gallo's injury, I am willing to move him if the price is right to a team more playing for next season. I definitely won't cut him, so more than willing to hold if no good offers arrive. If interested, please let me know.

Haha. Love it competitive juices are flowing. Keep wheeling and dealing fellas!! What is this I keep reading about trades for the better of the league? Really? As commish screw that I'm in this to win this. I'm doing what I feels best for my team at any give moment. Play the game the way it's supposed to be played. No funny business needed. We been questioning trades for over a year now, too funny. I got the business for my Kershaw for Machado deal, am I still fool? Haha
-
Thanks for the explanation, Montreal.

Im really done explaining this. I realize I asked for it yesterday but its ridiculous. I need to get back to work. Veto or accept the deal. I couldn't care less at this point.
-
Well the gist of this deal is I value Berrios at a top 15 SP right now with big upside (top 5 future SP). He is cheap and controllable (like Acuna). Yes Tatis and Eloy was a steep price and they are cheap. I put a premium on young SPs. He is getting some very nice prospects that are very highly ranked. Maybe they turn out and maybe they don't. I think I'm lower on Eloy than most people it appears. If you don't like my explanation and you feel the deal is THAT atrocious, then feel free to veto.
-
I have no horse in this race, my take is that Eloy and Tatis haven't proven anything. Top 100 prospects bust more often than not.
-
No, we have not yet, Leather.

No, all I said is that "all things being equal," front end starting pitcher has more value than corner OF (or any other position, in my opinion). You can value Vlad or Eloy's ceiling(s) higher than Berrios, but arguing that OF>SP1 is silly.
-
Somewhere in this pissing match did we get Montreal's reasoning for the trade?
-
Just veto it bro. You aren't going to get an answer that you agree with so I'm okay with you vetoing.
-
I thought politely asking for Montreal's thoughts (as requested by the league) because I think it is a high price to give up two potential star prospects for Berrios and Pinder was reasonable after the Acuna trade. Especially when Slack agreed and there is already been a post here from another member saying that he was not sure that Berrios was worth both guys.

I'm totally serious. No, a team will not trade someone like Jose Berrios for (I picked a random back end OF on the Top 100 prospects on MLB's list) for Heliot Ramos straight up. But, Eloy is a potentially star-level cornerstone OF. Are you also arguing that teams wouldn't give up someone like Berrios for Vlad Jr. because 3B (even if he may end up at 1B/DH) is pretty easy to find?
