  • We found a new manager for Obviously Five Relievers and a hearty welcome to him! The team is in need of some TLC and it looks like we've found someone excited for the task. Because OFR didn't make any cuts before the deadline, the new owner will allowed to make a round of penalty-free cuts, which should take place by this weekend.

  • Hey all -- We're looking for a new manager for Obviously 5. The previous manager didn't pay the league fee nor do his cuts by the deadline, didn't respond to an email checking in, and all of that, along with the issues with scheduling the draft. . . well, it was time to move on. So if you know of anyone who would be a good, engaged manager, please let me know. Whoever takes over the team will be able to do roster cuts even though the deadline has passed.

  • There was no other date among the 20(!) I asked about that worked for as many people. If you want to fill out the poll now we can see if we get close on any of the dates that you can make it, you and I can discuss via email about reaching out to the other managers directly who can't make it to see if they might be able to. Otherwise, this is it.

  • OFR -- I posted twice about the draft poll earlier this week (each post generates an email), and then emailed you directly yesterday. Everyone else has responded, some people more than once, or said they are flexible. It's part of the commish job to remind people of stuff, but after three messages, I'm at my limit. We always start scheduling the draft this time of year.
