Analysis: The Chicago southpaw was saddled with his third straight loss despite this solid 56-pitch performance as his innings continue to be limited while the season winds down. Crochet has not reached the fifth inning in his last 12 starts, as he sets a career high in innings pitched with each out he makes. Things haven't been pretty over those dozen outings either.
