Adam Dunn: 1 for 1 with 4 BB. I'd say that's better than Pujols has had all season...
-
Enrico thins this game is such a tease
-
Perfect 18.4 point inning by Chris Perez tonight. I am fairly certain that is the most a pitcher can get in one inning.

Ha!
-
congratulations to Enrico for crossing the 2000 point plateau
-
You know it's a deep league when Yan Gomes hits the board
-
Teams 5-7 separated by 4 points or less
-
Wait, Barry Zito was walked with the bases loaded? Is this real life?
-
name change is in honor of Kerry Wood...most favorite baseball memory for me was being at Turner Field fr the 2003 playoffs and over half the stadium chanting We Got Wood over and over
-
Verlander... So close
-
Few things sum up Ottoneu better than that!
-
Right now, Chiefs has a pitcher with 77 pts (Verlander thru 8IP) and a pitcher with -41 pts (Niese with 4 HR allowed). Dichotomy of Ottoneu
-
Bring on the interleague, which lost its intrigue about 10 years ago...
-
Haven't looked at their rosters, though.
-
Looks like only league #99 has a race similar to ours this late (7 teams within 200 points)

Durham Tobacconists's trading block has been updated!

(when you're not contending, it's the little things...)
-
I think there's enough time for me to get Grady's cap hit down to $2 before the trade deadline!
-
McDonald trying to make up for a rough day on the mound for WAR Horse...
-
It feels like my team just stalls in a time warp. No movement, no action. My offense is so bad.
-
I agree.
-
In two weeks that Pujols trade may look very stupid on my part...
-
Tony Siiiippppppp - anyone need RP help? $2!
-
biggest loss will be the inability to move starting pitchers into the rotation, and I won't be able to pull Chris Davis against lefties.

no, that part was fixed, you just can't set your lineup I believe.

I like how Chapman has 5 walks on the season and two more came in my rotation today immediately after he was added to my team.
-
I don't think you accrue points when illegal, either.
-
This is a pain in the ass. My roster is invalid until my trade with Shoeless goes through, which prevents me from sending trade offers, setting lineups, etc. I'm not going to cut a $4 and up player when I've already solved the problem.

I think with EE you could kind of see it coming with the way he closed out last season. Almost wish I had accepted some of the deal I discussed with Strikes last year that included him.

Seems everyone wanted Hart, not Werth. Needed to deal ASAP, Joes getting a pretty good deal.

My surprise players have been Austin Jackson and EE
-
Pretty excited that the only offensive category my team cares about his HBP, of which I lead the league. My offense is attrocious. In T-minus 4 minutes, maybe Adam Dunn can help...
-
I'm entertaining offers for Bumgarner. Not itching to trade him because of his youth and cost, but I'm listening if anyone wants in.
-
I guess Jeter for me. Was hoping the downwards trends didn't continue and got the opposite. Trending back to peak form. May wear down later
-
Bastardo is a double threat. Good player, great name.
-
The RP performance Crying had last night is sick. All those Ks. Nice.

wandy has been a nice surprise for me (haven't had many)... on pace to be a 1200 point pitcher for a pitiful Astro lineup.
-
Beltran for me...at $17 I took some hits in the off season about how he wouldn't come close to earning that price. I was hoping for 2011 production. I'm getting 2006 production. I'll take it.
-
and so I don't get yelled at, very close to potentially trading Jayson Werth or Corey Hart if anyone wants to throw a proposal in.

that said, Perez's line certainly is not sustainable - only a 6.75 k/9, .234 babib, and hasn't given up a hopmer yet despite just a terrible 38% gb rate. It's going to hurt when he regresses.

I think my surprise player has to be Chris Perez - with all the saves he's basically scored at the same clip as Kimbrel for $1. Couldn't give him away before the season.

Thanks for the parting HR last night, Pujols...
