I agree those dollars on Harper and Altuve seem a waste. You want to allocate on players that the team will keep unless you are trying to push a player over the edge so they become a free agent so you can target them.

That's fair, and I agree it's complicated. Just wanted to point it out, because the easier and more beneficial we make it for Shark to cut Harper, the easier we make it for him to keep more of that roster (Sale, Turner, Boegarts). Sorry, Shark!

Certainly kosher, but Shark Sandwich left us all in a pickle about how to allocate. Because Shark had accumulated an incredible $760 salary. Just look at that all star roster and tell me who most needs allocation. Somebody felt Harper need to be at a round number, somebody else gave Altuve $1 to bring him to $50. I decided it wasn't worthwhile to allocate to this team because half the players would end up on another team or free agents by Jan 31, so I allocated the minimum $1 to Justin Turne

Is it kosher to comment on others' arbitration allocations? For example, I have to imagine there's a better use for those $2 than getting Harper to $70...

I have two owners to introduce. The first joined our league late in the season. Please welcome Jordan, owner of the Wakandans. Jordan is a Pirates fan from Pittsburgh. To all new owners, many of the teams' old owners participated in arbitration before they left. If you want to make changes to their allocations, please go to the Arbitration tab and change any of the allocations you like. Just ensure that you use all of the allotted cash or none of the elections will count. Once arbitration ends next week, trading season begins until the January 31st deadline. Please let me know if you have any questions.
