I hate to trade away surplus this time of year, along with all the flexibility I’d have in the draft, and suspect that many days next season—whenever Yordan hits 2 HRs and a double—I’ll regret this…but I do look forward to a sense of smug satisfaction during the inevitable weeks (months?) when Yordan is camped out on the IL. Burnes turning the clock back a couple years would help too. Maybe seeing Strider and Glasnow up close will be an incentive to get the K/9 back up over 11….
