I don’t think you can cut anyone now—rosters locked til the end of arbitration.

I picked up a player right at the end of the season throwing me over the legal roster number, however, I’m not marked as having an illegal roster. I was thinking we decided that rosters have to be legal at the end of the season, thus I should have to drop one player. Can people please confirm or correct this determination?
-
I tend to agree and plan on paying them out. If you are in the top 4, then you don't have to pay me, I can just take it out of your winnings. But please everyone else do send me $20 if you haven't already.
-
Okay, I'll pay in.

We always pay the side pots. Even as the last place team I think we should pay in this year as well.
-
We are up to 25% participation!
-
If no one has paid the side pot this season, I have no complaint if we bypass it.

For Capped I have a spreadsheet tracking everyone’s costs and winnings so we can settle up after the season

$50 to Mikey

hah, Good point! I am not seeing that I paid for Capped either. Is it $50 to Mikey?
-
I can confirm no payments to John or Mikey that seem to match this league or FCA-2. Unless my payments were subtracted from last year's winnings ? (Oct. 2021)

Or remind me that we all paid Mikey, or decided not to do it, or whatever might have happened instead.
-
So unless there are objections I don't anticipate, please paypal $20 (mark as money for a friend) to johndavidhook@gmail.com
-
We normally do a $20 side pot in this league, but I don't have any record that I collected it this March. Or any discussion of not doing it. Its seems pretty unfair to this years winners to not do the side pot because I am forgetful.
-
Yea but you would have to flop and pretty much not score any points and then I still need to make up 250 point difference

Cleveland having 24 year old LH OF Will Benson on the same roster as 24 year old LH OF Will Brennan is confusing.
-
What an exciting finish this is turning out to be with a 1.3 point difference between second and third and between 11th and 12th. Time to pull out all the stops!

We have some in the pantry too—I used a tsp last week. Just checked the “best by” date: April 26 2017. It didn’t seem any worse (or better) for sitting around.

Not Vegemite, but powdered nutritional yeast. They use to sprinkle it on all their lunch and dinner dishes. Not my favorite flavor profile, but Emily (a vegetarian) LOVED the Grit, so we ate there a lot anyway.
-
You you eluding to Vegemite ? Ivr never had that but heard that is what it tastes like
-
Just kidding, they might have served the best pancakes I've ever had and will be sorely missed in Athens. Sad times.
-
Damn, how will I get food that tastes entirely of nutritional yeast, no matter what it actually is?
-
UGA alums, bad news: The Grit is closing next month.

0.7 point currently separates the bottom dwellers! Exciting race!

Of course my last streamer pitcher start against Miami went really badly, so maybe I dodged a bullet. I am actually on pace to hit my innings limit with the pitchers I have now, but only if all my pitchers get all their remaining starts.

TSA gonna TSA, though I’ve never had any problems there. You should have checked back in at International—sometimes if I’m getting dropped off I’ll even go there to check in for a domestic flight, at certain times of day. Anyway, how’d you get the landjäger thru customs? And I’m trying to figure out where it makes sense to fly from O’Hare via ATL? Maybe the Caribbean but Miami is usually a better choice. Delta does have direct flights to South Africa, which O’Hare does not have. (It’s long.)

We flew Delta , baggage transfer was confusing , walking to Terminal B was longer than we thought

So the first rule of ATL is “always fly delta”—then you could have checked in/cleared security for your domestic connection in the international terminal and taken the plane train to concourse B. If you insist on flying Southwest (or, god forbid, Frontier or Spirit) they’re not going to have check-in at Int. Not sure about AA or UAL. And while I’d walk from domestic to concourse B the train would be faster. Have you ever arrived at T5 in O’Hare and tried to make a domestic connection?

Pat , I had to go from international to customs and immigration , to baggage, top take to connecting baggage terminal , through TSa, then miles of trekking to get to terminal B. While all the food courts were just shutting .

From a vending machine? I might have missed it but the only 24-hour places I saw here were 1 McD’s and a couple Duncan’s: https://www.flychicago.com/ohare/eatshopmore/eat/Pages/default.aspx . Most places seem to run on central time and close by 9. Agree that ATL can be a hassle for connecting travelers but it’s a great home airport, flights are never cancelled (except problems at the destination) and the luggage service is the most efficient this side of Changi—your bags wait for you at ATL.

The Rockies never make logical decisions, so there is no telling what they do.

If Kris Bryant plays the last week of the season I'll be mad at myself. I just can't see why the Rockies would rush him back on the field with nothing to play for.
