I count four confirms (including me) for Sunday evening. Hopefully I have not missed anyone. That does not include Backdoor Sliders, Plakata, and All Betts who confirmed for the weekend so we may have seven confirms.
-
6/21, 8PM EDT/7PM Central … let's do it
-
Sunday the 21st at 8pm EST is fine with me.

Sunday, 21 June, 8 pm ET works for me

While it is still not clear that we will have a season this year, I think it would be helpful if everyone would please confirm that say 8 pm ET on Sunday the 21st will work. We will plan to move forward with the auction and hope for the best as far as a season goes.
-
Two of us for Sunday evening, so far.

Thanks for the reminder on Father's Day! If I have counted correctly, we have nine confirms for the weekend of June 19-21. One preference for the evening of the June 21st (Father's Day).
-
Anytime on the weekend of Jun 19-21 is fine. FYI, that Sunday is Father's Day in case anyone had previously made plans.
-
Works for me, too.
-
The weekend of June 19th should work for me as well.

Weekend of June 19 is fine for my squad. Evening of June 21 would be best.
-
I was hoping to get a few more confirmations. I was also hoping MLB would have a little more news on the restart plan this week. Nevertheless, I moved the draft one last time to the weekend of June 19th. We will draft that weekend unless MLB has waived off the season by then.
-
Thanks guys! We have 5 in agreement for the weekend of June 19-21 so far.
-
I agree. I'd rather draft and be able to make adds/cuts/trades than be stuck with everything locked like we are now.
-
My opinion has, and continues to be, that we set a draft date and stick to it. Even if they do resume play we will have imperfect information so this constant draft date shifting won't help decision-making enough to make a difference in my opinion. Let's just draft and let the cards fall where they may (which is normal anyway with any season).
-
At this stage, any time works with enough warning
-
I am fully flexible on those dates. Sunday evening would be ideal.

All - There is still quite a bit of uncertainty regarding what sort season we have and which players will choose to play if we have one. It does appear that if MLB starts up for 2020 it will be in early July. With that in mind, I propose that we look to the weekend of June 19-21 for our auction with the festivities starting around 7 or 8 pm EDT on one of those days. Are there any preferences among those days? The backup plan is the following weekend (June 26-28).
-
I am now moving the draft to May 23rd pending further information on the season start date.
-
All - I have been periodically pushing the draft date back about a week or two at time pending more concrete information on the season start date. I am about to do so again. It does appear that there may be more information on the season coming soon. Apparently, a restart plan with a July 1 start date is being submitted to the MLB players association. With that in mind, please begin considering dates for a draft around the middle of June.
-
Sorry, the consensus was to wait until we had a date/plan for the MLB season. So, I have been rolling the draft back periodically based on that direction. If the group wants to set a date I am for it.
-
I wish we would find a date and stick to it. I'd like to get this out of the way, please.
-
All - I am pushing our auction date back another two weeks as a placeholder. Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.
-
Sorry, I omitted a word. I intended to say that we have *enough* owners who would like to defer.... I tentatively set a new draft date for April 18th. Take care all!
-
Thanks everyone for chiming in! Even though I personally would like to go ahead and draft tomorrow, I think we have owners who would like to defer to postpone. I am going to tentatively pick a date in April for now. Obviously, this is arbitrary. We will need to firm up as things return to normal (trying to be optimistic!) in a few weeks.
-
I'd strongly prefer to postpone. tbh have not had a second to think about this given the past 2 weeks. if there is baseball this year we will have plenty of time to schedule the draft. hope everyone is staying safe and following all guidelines as this is critical right now across all 50 states.

I think it makes sense to do the draft now if everyone can do it now. It is always hard to coordinate the schedules of 12 different people. If someone just can't do it now, that's a completely different thing. In any event, Trip, I assume if you haven't heard from everyone, you're going to postpone?
-
My vote has not changed since 10 days ago. I prefer tomorrow.

I would prefer to do it and get it out of the way. Who knows how much time we will have in the near future, moving forward.
-
Would prefer to delay the draft
-
My vote is to postpone, but I'll do it tomorrow if the league does hold the draft
-
I can draft tomorrow but am not opposed to postponing either
-
Good morning (here in Colorado anyway) everyone! I count six confirmed for tomorrow with one additional reluctant yes. I probably should have pushed another reminder out this week. I think that with only 6 or 7 of us on board that we will have to postpone unless we get more confirmations today. One last check with everyone before postponing. Draft tomorrow? Meanwhile stay healthy and take care!
-
I'm doing the auction this Sunday
-
I'd like to re-confirm we are still doing this on Sunday. I would prefer to stick to the plan, personally.
-
If everyone else still wants to draft on Sunday, I can do it. Seems a bit silly, though, with the pandemic uncertainty … I can't imagine there will be MLB games before mid-June, so we could reschedule once there is more clarity about rosters and games.
-
Sunday still works for me.

I'm good for next Sunday, Trip.
-
So far, four still willing to auction next Sunday! Great! How about everyone else?
-
I suspect that, at the most, baseball will be shut down for no more than 2 months so I think this gives us something to do since some or all of us might be at home for awhile, yes? I am still good for the 22nd.
-
Ditto, let's do this!
-
I would like to proceed with the auction on 3/22.

As you all probably know, MLB is delaying the start of the season by at least two weeks. Our auction is scheduled for Sunday 3/22. I am inclined to move forward with the auction as planned in the hope that the corona-virus situation improves and the season is not delayed for too long. However, I am happy to discuss other options. Thoughts?
-
Welcome to all of the new owners! 3/22 at 8 pm ET seems to be the consensus draft date. I don't think anyone has indicated that this time will not work. I am going to set up the auction for that time. So count down three weeks and a day until we auction!
-
Welcome! I am new to the League as well.

Thanks for joining! Let us know if you are amenable to our proposed Auction time: evening of 22 March (Sunday)
