July 26, 2024 2:23 PM : The Rays reinstated Diaz (personal) from the restricted list Friday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Analysis: Diaz was placed on the restricted list following the All-Star break and missed seven consecutive games for personal reasons. The 32-year-old will be available for Friday's series opener against the Reds and should slot in at first base. Diaz is slashing .273/.329/.396 with eight homers, 46 RBI and 35 runs during 416 plate appearances.
