• Happened to me, I went to bid on Betances at 8 seconds. Screen froze, next thing I know it said 1 second and I tried to bid again and he was gone. Very frustrating.

• I set the auction for Tuesday, March 10 at 8:30 PM EST. That looked to work for all those who filled in the Google Sheet or responded otherwise. If this is a problem for anyone, please let me know this week so we still have plenty of time to look at alternatives. Clearly the auction is best if all participate.

• Interesting, those waiver claims were made just before the end of the season but didn't have time to clear, before the season ended. I don't know what the rules say but it does seem odd that we get the players now.

• i believe we've passed the point of no return. Let's See That Million Dollar Arm has more points now than if anyone else is projected to have at the end of the season based on current ppg/ppip rates. congrats to him, $6 ketel marte, and $8 charlie morton on their victory!

• relievers are dumb. over the past 7 days the relievers in my starting lineups have pitched 53 innings for a total of -9.5 points. the relievers on my bench have pitched 52 innings for 122 points. very frustrating.

• Thanks for the info. I’ve played both ways, what sometimes happens is teams with no chance become less and less involved. This group doesn’t seem to be like that. Good.

• I would prefer season long points as well...just my opinion.

• Just my $0.02, but I definitely would not play in a league with playoffs. The reason playoffs make no sense to me in fantasy baseball is that they happen during the last two weeks of the year when teams are often playing a whole different group of players. You could have a great team of players who then rest multiple days during that time. It just doesn't make sense to make those two weeks the most consequential to your fantasy league.

• This league has been season long points since inception. I think (and assume most others in the league do as well) that season long points is more indicative of better team construction than using playoffs. If there's enough people that want to switch to playoffs, we can consider it for future seasons, but we might see owners drop because of that.
