I don't know. I wanted in a prize league and I walked into this. This is the most disfunctional league I've seen. Maybe it's just being bored in the off season. But that trade was either collusion or one owner is the worst owner in ottoneu. Either one sucks to have in a league.

Lastly, Rhys, you quit one of my other leagues last week due to excessive "turnover". There is more turnover here big boy - you should leave.

I've built my team up to be something I consider pretty good. I have invested a lot of time in the league. I'm sure there would be nothing more satisfying than seeing me quit, but I am fine with 1 or 2 people disliking me. I also am pretty happy with the fact that I don't throw collusion around like a sneeze, those who do are trying to put a label on something that will illicit response, when I'm sure they don't intellectual believe it. Also Birdie - are you in or out?

And I'm pretty sure my last post about those 3 trades are the "realties" of those deals. I believe it is you who isn't dealing in "realities" by cutting and posting message board posts out of context to try and make me look bad. It's you that curses at people on the message board. Please stop distracting from realities. Maybe "Birdies" wants to stay now that the trade was vetoed. It is more important to set ground rules going forward than to continue bickering. Laser asked you a legitimate question, he is not pressuring either of you. If you don't like him or the league, just leave. It's that simple. Bitching isn't going to help this league, so make a decision.

Laser Showalter and 3H made 2 trades in the last week and then 3H quits. Yet no one is talking about collusion with them. Seems pretty fishy to me. Bye Bye Birdie quits gets picked up and then the new owner says he wants out but then immediately makes a trade with Laser Showalter. This also seems pretty fishy to me.

I still am having a hard time believing our commissioner would allow the trade that was processed this morning to go through. The team quit before it was even processed.

My opinion: (1) all trades with teams that have been abandoned be reversed, (2) if there are vacant teams, trades can be vetoed with a simple majority, (3) people pay up for league dues before trades are allowed to go through. If we can come to an agreement on these rules, I'll pay my dues now.

Serious question: why don't you guys quit? You don't seem to be enjoying this. I know, I know, Logan wants to see me lose, etc. But that's not happening any time soon, so it's ok to just walk away from this and save us all the hassle.

Maybe you should put the players you are looking to trade on your trade block? I get that you can be down on certain players more than most, but your return was an absolute joke. A return like that, and you attempting to bash the quality assets you have, sparks the belief that there could be collusion.

Why are trades being allowed by teams that have already quit?
And why is the current trade (with Bye Bye Birdie and Laser) being allowed when Birdie already quit- twice?

Also, according to maba rhys would be hurting his team in order to settle some grudge 2 other people have? That makes a lot of sense.

And I stated I made the trade to rebuild. Do I really need to defend the decision to trade Severino- who averaged less than 4 points/inning in 2015-2016 over 130+ innings? Or Jose Ramirez who had a completely fluky power spike last year and is going to revert back to the 4-5 pt/game guy he was from 2014-2016? Yes Bregman is good and I hate to lose him but I’m acquiring guys who can help me in 2019-2020 when this team can be competitive.

When did I say I made the trade because people were mean? I said people might be leaving the league because of the constant bickering in the message board.

Any trade made by a team that has since quit should be reversed. Why has that not happened?

If we're going with commish controlled voting then there should be a moratorium on all trading and trades with abandoned teams should be reversed. This inhibits rhys and I from managing to the fullest extent of our abilities.

Well we should vote on it at least. As I see it there are 9 owners (birdie joined after the trade), so if 5 people vote against it on the message board I stand corrected.

Well, I think there is more than a reasonable case for collusion. Rhys didn't even try to defend the trade. He said "other people are mean so I traded with Logan". Also, it was a decision supported by multiple parties - you're wrong, deal with it

Also we're vetoing trades for reasons other than collusion now? I see 1 active owner who would veto on laser, and 2 who would go ahead. You are interfering with the normal operations of the league. This is awful judgement and I will be reporting to niv.

Once membership is stabilized Rhys and Logan can complete the deal again and allow it to go through the normal veto process. I don’t like commissioner vetoes and think they should just about never be used, but early in the offseason with as many as 4 missing owners we need to make an exception here. It doesn’t hurt either team to try to run this deal through the process again 2-3 weeks from now.

That trade is being commissioner vetoed. With all of the turnover we can’t count on the regular league veto. There is no way that can go through - may be the worst trade I’ve seen in my 6+ years of Ottoneu. I’ll be messaging the two teams that completed it to understans the motivations and see if something can be worked out.

Any trade made by a team that abandons the team within a week of making the trade should be reversed. Let the new owners decide what deals to make with their roster.

My two cents: No need to have commissioner review this trade. There is a veto process in place and even with the managers leaving teams, it's possible to veto it. IF the commissioners decide that they need to review this trade, then I suggest we also review the trades made by the abandoned teams that are still pending as well.

There is no call however for any need to go beyond Ottoneu protocol for any trades, and I urge everyone to examine the precedent that would be set.

This is the second accusation of collusion in 4 months. I apologize for anyone whose enjoyment I have affected. I can guarantee I have never accused another manager of collusion, and don't think I have asked for any trades to be cancelled or reversed. My recent posts have been to point out that Laser is way up against the cap, and that the best way to facilitate competition is to force him into hard decisions on high priced talent. Maybe that was out of line, and I apologize.

So one person complains about a trade and you get to single handedly decide it's fate but when you make a trade that one owner complains about it's ok to follow the Ottoneu rules??? How does that make sense?

Given the circumstances ( empty teams) and the divisive nature of the latest trade, I think the Rhys/Logan trade approval should be decided by commissioner discretion. I'd like to ask Rhys (the proposing team) to defend it from a fantasy baseball perspective. I'd also like to ask Logan to explain why he thinks the trade is fair or unfair.
