rosters are locked, so we’ll just have to make cuts after arb.
-
ah, ok—i didn’t realize. thanks.
-
All players must be reinstated from 60 day IL within 5 days after World Series completion so I believe there should be no exception to have more than 40 man rosters.
-
60-day IL guys don’t count against your roster limits
-
yes, thanks for the reminder—everyone should have a legal roster, too.
-
Shouldnt we be cut to 40 per team first?
-
arbitration has started. it’s mandatory for you to complete your arb nominations before the deadline.
-
Sorry for being a bit slow to the party, was out of town. Donated to MSPCA-Angell

Donated--congrats Framber, and thanks everyone for another great year!
-
Haha, that's great. I've accumulated some of those loser achievements.
-
For anyone wondering, when you come in dead last in six picks and spend at least $110, you get the "Los Angeles Angels" achievement
-
Congrats, Rusty! I donated to the shelter I got my pup from - awesome suggestion.
-
New round of playoffs version Pick Six starting now. Entries due by 12:00 noon.
-
Donated to ASPCA

Made my donation to Humane Society. Congrats again, Russ.
-
I see Six Picks is running through the MLB postseason. I may actually try it if I remember on Friday.
-
Congratulations Russ! Well done. Also, congratulations to Dave for doing an outstanding job as commish. And a hearty thanks to the rest of my league mates for staying involved and making this such a fantastic league. Looking forward to the Guardians-Padres world series!
-
Thx all. Nice job by Croney, too, for almost taking 2nd place but for Ranger Suarez. But as many have noted, everyone in this league remain active thru the year and make this league super competitive and special. The wife and I are animal lovers and share our lives with 2 dogs, 1 from the Santa Fe shelter. Please give to your local shelter or The Humane Society.

Bravo, Rusty!!! Well-earned!
-
Look forward to donating to your charity of choice.
-
Congrats Rusty!! Well done. 2 years a bridesmaid and now the blushing bride. Amazing run in a very competitive, participative league.
-
Congrats to you Vlad for getting to cover the MLB postseason.
-
Rusty Great job you did a awesome job managing your roster all year. Chuck

My biggest congratulations, Rusty! This is a VERY hard game, and victory is well earned. It’s such a joy to be this league that’s somehow this competitive and this positive. Looking forward to arb season!

Hearty congratulations to Rusty, who richly deserves the victory! Rusty never rebuilds and never quits, just a pure competitor every season. I’d be delighted to make a contribution to your charity of choice. I also want to give a hat tip to everyone else in the league. We had nothing but fun, positive vibes all year. You guys rule.
-
Agreed on all counts. Thanks to everybody for being engaged.
-
Congrats to Russ on a great season, and thanks as always to Dave for doing a tremendous job as Commish (while putting together a great season himself). If you get a chance you should wander around the global leaderboards. If you do I think you'll see, as I've seen, that Ottoneu leagues like ours are clearly the exception. Grateful to all of you for making this weird little game of ours competitive, and fun. See you in the virtual hot stove.
-
it will be a remarkable accomplishment if we get 5 teams with 18,000+ points
-
That would have been the deepest darkest 5 o'clock shadow on a 13 yr old, ever.
-
Clearly with Pujols on board for '23 you could move a prospect like -- oh, no one in particular, let's just say Jordan Walker -- and set yourself up for a championship run.
-
Everyone asks if Pujols lied about his age. No one stops to ask which way. My sources say that when he was drafted in '99, he was actually 13 years old.
-
Assuming his birth certificate is correct, he has a long career ahead of him
-
I am just excited to have this Pujols kid for $3 next year. Homers every time I look
-
Speaking of a pitcher owning another team, Cortes in three starts against the Orioles this season: 18. 1 IP scoreless with 31 K.
-
Nestor is saying, no no no, this isn't over.
-
I think Merrill Kelly last night ruled out whatever infinitesimal chance I had at second place. You know they talk about third time through the order? This year Kelly had FIVE terrific starts (by Ottoneu standards as well as reality) against a disappointing and indifferent Giants lineup. Guess I should have seen it coming, but it took till start no. 6 of the season before SF finally bothered to kick his ass.
-
Fivethirtyeight has not ruled out Cronenworthy yet...
-
hard to talk trash when you’re picking your teeth off the ground.
-
final week—good luck everyone!
-
done, thanks!
-
Commish please set Olivares's salary to $2. Thank you.
-
Thought I had a chance yesterday, then got lapped by all the psychics that knew even DeGrom wasn't immune to the A's' usual September bullshit
-
I too chose Kirby! I am comically bad at Pick Six. Congrats to Bluefin/HKB, though. And while I'm here, don't listen to Dave. He is a far far better fantasy player than he is as a fantasy baseball race handicapper. Check out the race results over the last 3 days if you don't believe me.
-
That’s awesome! I think all Six Picks wins are moral victories for our whole league. (Sadly, I chose with my heart today and went with George Kirby)

Looks like a 7th place finish, much better than usual but still outside the top 6. Getting there. In the pick six random dudes contest, took 1st yesterday. Picking Judge everyday is paying dividends!
-
close race, but i think Rusty has got it.
-
I finished 3rd from the bottom! But at least I beat Nivshah
-
Apparently better at picking 6 random guys than an entire team -- finished 5th yesterday!
