I could see Arizona giving him some run at DH
-
Alas, Longo will never trot out for thee
-
Acuna and Vlad still need to trot him out.
-
My team's never had him, and he'd actually fit on my team at $1

Which team is the Longoria hater?
-
Evan Longoria says what up (11 stints across 10 teams)
-
The following are on or close to my cut list. Make an offer if interested: Perez (12); Jansen (3); Hoskins (31); Votto (6); Massey (4) Lux (11); Cabrera (7); Kim (9); Rendon (27); M. Chapman (19); Harper (58); Lopez (7); Civale (4); Dunning (6); Alzolay (7); A. Chapman (9); Neris (6); Graveman (3).
-
I'd bet money that the leader is a reliever. Someone like Mark Melancon (who's at 8, so not him, but someone like him)

Nope. Wrong. Chris Sale's been owned by 9.
-
Kershaw might be the pitching equivalent to Seager. He's been on 8.
-
For all his trades, he's only been on 4 teams. Corey Seager leads my current roster with 8. Has anyone managed to hit all 12?
-
Steve Pearce hasn't unretired but Sixto Sanchez is sitting there ready to be added, traded and dropped
-
please tell me steve pearce has unretired.
-
Add him on his heaters. Dump him on his slumps.
-
Not buying Framber's latest move. Russ added Haase three separate times last season, and had him for awhile in 2021 too. He'll be back. Totally.
-
Thanx
-
hi everyone—the draft date is just a placeholder. i’ll circulate a doodle in february to figure out a day and time that works for everyone.
-
looking to move logan o’hoppe and jason adam
-
sorry to break up the rhythm, but i just wanted to rip the bandage off
-
Thanks. It wasn’t my turn in the round robin, but f*** that guy.
-
Good cut
-
Totally. Brock Burke is outta here. Don't you feel better now? And we're almost halfway around to my turn again!
-
Does that count?
-
Seeya Joey. Played one game while on my roster in '22. Got one offer for him that wasn't very good.
-
Just to break up the January monotony each of us should take turns dropping a player. Start with a guy at the very end of your roster that you've been just hoping to trade even though you totally know that everyone else knows that you'll end up dumping him back in the auction. It will be so dramatic. I'll start.
-
will also accept anything of rosterable value for $51 Gerrit Cole. he’s pitcher list’s number 1 rated pitcher!
-
motivated seller for $15 Ian Happ. 4.97 ppg last season.
-
Willing to move new Twin $10 Joey Gallo for a RP or low cost bench player
-
still plenty of time, but just a head’s up that the keeper deadline is Jan 31. after the deadline passes, rosters are frozen till after the draft.
-
Bregman and Eugenio both for sale
-
yeah, i think that makes sense
-
Is the consensus that we need to drop to 40 now?
-
draft date is obv just a placeholder
-
very early head’s up to everyone that the keeper deadline is Jan 31, 2023. rosters freeze from that date till the draft.
-
He offered his honor.....She honored his offer......and all night long it was on her and off her

usually it takes a little longer for me to be humiliated by one of my trades.
-
Rhys Hoskins now very much on the block... (Also basically any of my IFs or RPs)
-
Hot stove, baby! I’m looking to swap Scherzer for a market-priced or maybe maybe a tad overpriced $20ish starter. But I’ll also be looking for MI and OF help (like everyone else, I’m sure)

motivated seller for all the guys on my trade block, including Cole, Freeman, and Happ.
-
open to offers for Soto, though also not desperate to move him.
-
last day to make changes to your arb allocations, then the hot stove season begins!
-
Thanks everyone for completing arbitration—another 100% year. Looking forward to some hot stove action!
-
if you don’t complete your allocations by Nov 10, or send me a message promising to do so before the deadline, i’ll assume you’re unable or unwilling to do so. that way we can replace you in time for the new owner to make the arb allocations.
-
2 teams left to allocate and just over a week to finish. if you don’t make your arb allocations, i will remove you from the league.
-
only 3 teams left to allocate. just a reminder, completing arbitration is mandatory to stay in the league.
-
i see it as more of a spirit of the rule issue, and the problem we were trying to fix was ppl picking up a ton on guys right before rosters locked. no one did that this year.
-
I think we have this same debate every year, and it feels like we come to a different conclusion every year. But agreed it shouldn't matter much--nobody's going to have more than 40 guys who are plausible keeper candidates, let alone more than 40 guys who might attract arbitration dollars.
-
Yeah, my interpretation is the same as Vlad's, but I also think it doesn't matter much. I'm ok with either outcome
-
I don't think it's correct that rosters need to be at 40. Rule I(b) about needing to be at 40 and under the cap refers to "during the season." And the Offseason section (Part VIII) really suggests that having more than 40 is OK between the end of the regular season and the keeper deadline. I think this is why the rosters are locked right now.

And of course all rosters are locked right now so we cant cut. Think we ran into this in prior years and had to wait to do arbitration.
