I want to be fully transparent so no one misses out just by being offline for a couple of days. Next week, I'm planning to cut Bobby Witt Jr. It’s a strategy I’ve used before and it tends to work out better than trying to trade a $56 player. That budget flexibility—especially after the July draft—gives me more options than what I’ve seen on the trade market. That said, I don’t want Witt to quietly slip through the auction while someone’s not paying attention, so consider this a heads-up.
