• I was going to message one of the 3 commissioners but since a couple of you are here discussing this same topic, I’ll just mention it here..The trade I made with Mascot was supposed to be Kwan and Travis for Crochet, but somehow, accidentally, Kwan’s box was not checked even though I swore I checked it..I had the trade request open in 2 different windows, so maybe the first window closed without me completing the deal, therefore activating it..SM

• Question on cap penalties (I think I have this straight but checking) - If I cut a $20 player, there’s a $10 cap penalty issued. If I wait 30 days and re-auction the same player and win it at say $12, the original $10 penalty disappears, and I sign him for a net overall change of +$2. Accurate?

• Can someone please explain to me how in Ottoneu, signing a free agent at $1 then immediately releasing him at same price helps your roster or budget at all? I see this happen a lot..It’s not like you are adding back to your budget like if he was a $10 player and you cut him..What’s the use of even signing him if you were going to release him the next day at that price?

  Also, a few of us are in a 15 MiLB league that currently has 2 open teams. Basically each team has a roster of 15 MiLB guys (kept separately), in addition to their 40 man ottoneu roster. Fun way to introduce a longer-term dynasty element to ottoneu, and it's a blast to see your deep sleeper prospects come up and become studs. Let me know if you're interested in joining!
